My turn to wreck!
Last Tuesday on the way home from school (I teach Optics for the State) I did something stupid and rear ended another car. Figured about 3 grand for repair. Well, I was wrong....$10,000.00...
. Insurance gave me a "Accident Forgiveness" since I have been with them over 25 years and no accidents. Thanks State Farm! Will be 2 weeks till I get it back. Till then it is a rental.....P/T Cruizer.
Don't have a cam but can tell you what was done. Front bumper caved in, left fender and head light demolished, hood bent in half, drivers door will not open (fender pushed back), bumper supports bent and passenger air bag deployed. I am sure there are some things I can't see also. Thing that is weird is all the damage is on the drivers side and the passenger air bag is the one that blew.? Shop says that it should be "good as new" when done as 99% of all damage is body. Guess it will be worth squat if I ever try to trade in or sell it though. Sad....it only has 15K on it.
