I thought the Z was electronically limited to 155mph?

Default I thought the Z was electronically limited to 155mph?

I was airing out my Z today and hit 156mph on the dig speedo before i slowed....there was no sign of it slowing down however!

so what gives?

then why did you slow down? Why not 160?

njtpk south after 80 , b4 exit 17

wanted to be safe (other cars) and exit 17 was coming up.

I dont know of any cars going above 156, there is a video on 350zmotoring.com of a guy getting up to 156, but it is not known if it is real or not.

Again on 350zmotoring.com the fastest anyone has claimed is 158, I believe.

Not sure what the limit is at, though I am sure its a soft limit, for liability reasons, thus im sure you can get a few miles per hour higher.

I'm sure you could do better than 156 going downhill.

Speedos have a margin of error at high speeds. I can remember a few occasions of the speed limiter kicking in at 163mph or so in my M5.

Went to LA for mods from SF, tried for high speed in highway5, all i can get to is 147.... tats wat it reads from the digital meter.... is sumthing wrong with my Z
