Going to look at a Z 2mor, what should I..
I'm going to look at an 04 Z 6MT tomorrow. Is there anything you guys would suggested keeping and eye out for or pay close attention to certain things? The car has 25k miles. I don't know if it still has a warranty but I heard that their are "Warranty" companies that are better/cheaper then dealers...is this true? Help me out guys, I don't want to make a mistake. Thanks in advance!

An '04 Z with 25K miles still has the 3 yr/36K mi base warranty in effect. It transfers automatically with ownership. You can ask the seller what work has been done under the factory warranty. Possible warranty items include tire feathering, transmission shifting problems, window grease streaks and fuel filler hose recall on some Zs. Most aftermarket warranty companies still have a lot of profit built in ans exclusions on many parts. Not a good buy IMO.
Look the car over carefully. Drive it and check it out on the road. Have a good idea (carfax, intellichoice, etc) what the car is worth and be prepared to negotiate if you decide to buy.

make sure to check out the in service date if possible. mine is an 04 but manufactured in 11-03. SO my 3,36k is null now cause of the in-service date. Search the forums and you will find your answers. Watch out for the tranny, drive it and see how it feels and shifts. look it over with a fine tooth comb and make a smart decision, dont rush things. You might find an 05-up for about the same price if you look hard enough.

Thanks for the advise! The car sold before I got there. The sales man set me up. I had an appointment with him and when I got there he said "I have good news & I have bad news, the bad is that the car sold" At this point I was ready to kill. The good news is that they get these kinds of cars in all the time. F*cking *******! They waisted my time and money.

I got screwed by Hudson Nissan a few weeks ago... (made me drive to Jersey for a car that wasn't there, only to show me a bunch of automatics on the lot. Bull****)
I actually found a similar 04' 6MT Z over a week ago. The day after it was posted on Autotrader I went down and put a deposit on it. If it's a good deal it's either bull****, or sold by the time you get there.
Not trying to be a dick or anything, but honestly, I see this same damn question every day. Maybe twice a day. Go back a couple pages and you can find plenty of answers.
Infact, this same thread is on page 2.
