And is the Nismo package still going to be a $7k markup? When I was getting my car I saw one and almost choked at the price.

I love the rear bumper
front bumper is just o.k.
but really & truly its a car u buy just say "I own Nismo Z" & u keep it in the garage & drive it only to car shows, meets or every other sunday
chasis is more rigid (more body welds)
& has stiffer Nismo suspension & Nismo exhaust
but there is no HP gain so wats really the point just another car to mod!!
if i wanted one i'd buy a track '07 & mod it
I forget wat the sticker price was, if im not mistaken it was around 39k-40k

That thing would deff give the M3 a run for its money with that body, a carbon fiber roof and V8 tucked under there. Oh well we all have dreams, thanks Infiniti for putting out such a fabulous concept and then taking it away from us.
They show avant guard concept cars that look like a million dollars.
Pull a bait and switch and then hand over a 4 seater in a KIA body kit.

So sad...
And they will see it in their sales.
It was the original G35 that pulled Infiniti out of the brink of bankrupcy. A homerun right out of the ball park! But they followed up with a repulsive puker.
Somebody at Infiniti F***** UP big time.
I sure hope they don't do that with the next gen Z!
Otherwise I'll go buy a Honda.

That's +150lbs over last years!
Also, per Nissan Sport Mag.,
...a weight savings mandate to suppliers. The company is now setting weight-loss targets for components. "Over the past 20 years, very model year's vehicle has become heavier and heavier—we felt we needed to stop it," [Do ya think?!] says Mitsuhiko Yama****a, executive v.p. for research, technology and engineering for NMC...Over the last 10 years, weights of new cars have gone up an average of 483 lbs.

The current Z and G is already heavy but at least they look a lot better than anything else in its class. And they both share a lot in common in the lines.
But I have to ask... what will the new Z market do if the next Z comes out modeled after the G37? ...And grows 150-250 lbs heavier.
