here are a few really pertinant threads that took me 2.5 seconds to type into search, and find

A: A dealership cannot "void the warranty on the whole car" just because you have a JWT popcharger or aftermarket wheels. If they are trying to deny warranty service, they must prove that the mod caused the problem.
Of course, adding a turbo kit (for example) can put a lot of stress on the engine itself, as well as to the drivetrain. Don't be surprised if the dealer refuses to perform warranty service on a heavily modified car, that's just common sense.
This is all part of the "Magnuson-Moss" Warranty Act, which protects consumers against shady business practice by:
(In short, if they try to void your warranty and your mod could not have caused the problem, sue the bastards...)
More info can be found here

THAT SAID, if your mod *did* cause the problem, then it's your problem and you have to deal with it.

Does this search engine even handle a boolean search? I've tried, but from the varied results I get, I cannot even tell.
I guess the worst part is all the conflicting information.
If you listen to some members, the Pop-charger causes engine stalling. According to others, it is the best thing since naked cheerleaders and works flawlessly.
There seems to be more "voodoo" at work here than simple science. And who the foook can read that washed-out dyno chart? It is as meanlingless as one of my crayon drawings I make each Wednesday at dollar pint night (although my crayon drawings are the best, because the other kids don't know how to mix the colors so my parrots look better).

IMO, if someone has to spend hours and hours on a board sorting through conflicting reports and opinions to answer one simple question, the board becomes kinda useless. A person could spend those hours searching the www or calling shops instead and never need the board.
As you noticed, it was not I who asked the question, but I've run across the same problems trying to get that same answer here, and it irritates me when someone takes the same amount of time as it would take to answer the question to make a smartass remark instead. Yes, people should search more. AND yes, members should also refrain from cluttering the board with "cute" answers with questionable motives.
(i am sure you even know me very well ).
Do you live in Houston?

Just go in with the information provided previously about them having to prove that your mod caused the problem.
If all else fails call Nissan Consumer Affairs or go to another dealer.
Add that dealer here:
