Again, we care about this comparison why?
Point of that is the RX8 isn't any better than the S2000 in the corners (from everything I've seen) and yet I see it brought up a million times over how car x might beat you on a straight line but you will 'get him in the twisties'.

I apologize for using your quote when I posted but the whole twisties argument is lame as ****.

Um, no you did not read someone taking a Z in the twisties with two in the back.
It was late, I meant to say RX-8. You really think that the RX-8 loaded with 4 people is gonna be fun in the twisties with only 159lb/ft of torque??? I highly doubt it. That's gonna add like 6 or 7 hundred pounds to your cars weight, so it be 3700 pounds for that 1.3liter wankel to haul around... Go try it. That's like a Camaro SS body with an S2000 engine. HAHAHA

Cmon..we already figured out that power has NOTHING to do with how you handle in the twisties...even with the extra weight the RX-8 is right behind the RSX in the twisites.

^LOL. You're right... I'm sorry. how can you even compare the RX8 vs. The 350Z when the RSX clearly dominates this sector already.

EXACTLY!! It's funny how it takes the power of the RSX to bring a thread back to the point.

What's the deal with the RSX? For some reason over on the Rx-8 site they poke fun at the Crossfire and I still don't get it.

That argument will not work bro....Did you see what the Z did to the RX-8 at VIR 4+ mile track?????Lots and lots of twisties, off camber corners, decreasing radius turns etc.....Can you say 7 second beating in just one lap??????Even the Cobalt SS fwd car beat it...Handling didnt fail it...Power did....Car and Driver Lightening lap link below:

http://www.caranddriver.com/features...000-page4.html

Now please dont take this as bashing the RX8.....I like the car and respect it...Its unique and very stylish but it isnt the RX7....On an autocross it will give any car a serious run since its a tight track and power isnt as important as chassis setup like on a real circuit track like VIR.....Besides it isnt like the Z handles like garbage its a tick behind cars like the S2k/RX8 in terms of handling since its heavier so certain tracks will favor the faster Z while small tight, technical courses will favor the RX8 etc....RX8 great drivers car, nimble handler...No hate whatsoever towards it...

Why do any of you even care if car X can go around a race track faster than car Y or if a car can run the 1/4 .2 tenths of a second quicker. Are any of you out racing your cars competitively? Seriously, if you guys were true car enthusiasts you'd look for reasons to like others cars instead of reasons to bash them.
