just sold my car today, finally (guy's bringing check tomorrow to pick it up) so....I went to a dealer to get the Z (Performance w/ navi)....told them i want it for 33 out the door, they said ok...but then they tried tellin me that I would have to pick from the two performance models on the lot (w/out navi)...then they said the dealer they themselves would install the navi (not to sure on how this is possible, or if i would trust their workmanship),,,i told the guy i want white, he tells me their only 6 white ones on the east coast ( )...THEN he told me if I were to order one I wouldn't get it untill AUGUST!!! wtf? i went to another dealer, then the guy there was a complete @$$hole! I was about to punch him in his face, so i just got up and left....but back to the August thing, would it really take that long if I were to order one?

p.s. anyone wanna recommend a good dealer to me? good salesman?....the first salesman wasn't an ***, but seemed pretty stupid, but was easy to work wit...the second guy was so hard to get along wit,,,he was actin sooo fake, i knew i should've walked out the moment I first talked to him!

nissan world of denville was the first (closest to my house) they're the ones who told me August...hilltop was the second one (don't wanna go back there!) unless you know a cool salesman, the guy i talke to was Joe Pitazzo or something (i think that was his name, i threw the card he gave me back as I walked out)

 

There were 4 or 5 models at Pine Belt (exit 117 off the parkway). There might have been a white, but I know there were 2 reds, and a silverstone.

They won't jerk you around.

 

go to nissandriven.com and design the kind of 350z you want, then do a dealership inventory search for that z. It takes a while to look in all the dealerships around your state or surrounding states, but you'll probably find one.

That's what I did, I found one in oklahoma, my dealer had it trucked in to little rock for me that week. It took one week from when I decided I wanted a z till I was driving one. I bet u can find one before august.

 

I placed an order in the beginning of April and was told 8-10 weeks or up too 120 days so I am hoping for delivery by the end of June like my sig. says.

It took mine exactly 11 weeks from order to arrival.

 

They can do a dealer locate, which means if one is in route to a dealer they can intercept it and have it come to their dealer.

August is ridiculous, they must be lazy f@#ks

 

I believe you can only do a dealer intercept if that dealer is willing to trade/give it up.

My Dealer "Berlin City" So. Portland Maine had four or five on the lot the last time I was over there And they had from a track down..... So look around.... and any dealer that has a bad attitude should be walked out on ... to many cars to choose from.. Good luck...

 

thanks people...i searched through about a 100 dealer inventories, and found 1 white performance (90 somethin miles away)!!! no navi...but its arright....i'm gonna most likely get an aftermarket navi (kenwood excelon)...you think a dealer in my area can get this for me, or would i have to go 90+ miles to get it?
