Default Looking to buy 05 350z touring conv NEED HELP!!

I'm looking at purchasing an 05 350z.

1. Does anyone know if the tire feathering issue is resolved for this model?

2. What can be done to fix the problem if it exists? and cost of repair?

3. Does the tire look like its feathering already (link below) take a look at the picture of the tire.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...1&aff=national

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

that's a clean looking 05, especially the nice mileage count. Probably driven by a senior for weekend trips with the top down.

I have an '05 with no issues.
From reading the numerous posts on this subject, the tire feathering issue seems to be confined to '03 and '04 models. Not all had this problem.
As I understand it, again from reading here, there was an '04.5 model which seems to have addressed the problem.
Good luck and beautiful car by the way.
Lastly look on www.nissanhelp.com for tire alignment or tire wear issues.

I bought my 05 Touring roadster a year ago. No tire feathering at all. Most of the suspension/alignment problems were in the 03s/04s/.
