I think he was banking on the fact that you may not have been able to make the claim after 30 days. Additionally, I would say you were hell of lucky he even kept the funds in his account (no doubt probably left it in there to purchase something else). Otherwise, you would have only received partial (if it was buyer protection available) refund of a few hundred bucks from Paypal and they would ATTEMPT to recover the rest of the funds if he had withdrawn it all.

The fact is, he gave different stories on the shipping and he can't even give you the OLD tracking number. I am glad Paypal got it for you, I know personally how much they can suck...specifically if you're the seller and don't choose to put tracking on what you sent...

This is a sore spot for me because after being scammed 1200 for some wheels a while back, the SAME guy has since scammed others on here, under different usernames. IP BANS FOR SCAMMERS!!!!!

Anymore, if it's not a well-known forum member with postitive feedback, I won't even think about buying anything off of this forum. Too many noobs with no feedback and a handful of BS posts throwing up for sale ads left and right (neverbonestock?).

That's why you don't buy your **** from forum members, too many kid sellers on here. Ebay, online or a local store is much better!
Peace!

^ I'm going to disagree. I've bought stuff on here and have been pretty happy. Just have to assess the user beforehand.
Watch, I'm going to get burned now because I have two things waiting to arrive..

I have had some really good deals on here, and been able to sell a turbo system as well as a pair of Volk's. I think I learned a lot here on this one. I'm too nice of a ****ing guy. I actually felt bad for exposing the guy earlier lol. I like to feel like i gave him the benefit of the doubt bad enough, but deep down i guess i was expecting him to send something like "My mom died man i have been busy with that".
Again guys thanks for all the good stuff. I am still not sure he was trying to rip me off, or just screwing me around...again im too damn nice

i agree that new members should have to at least post 100 times before being able to sell. until then just don't buy anything from them or people that have 0 trader feedback or that don't come on here that often, because i for one know that there are a lot of us that sign on here daily, several times a day to be exact so why should these little scammers be allowed bring down our z community? don't know if any of that makes sense, im at work and doing several different things, sorry. =]

I really dont agree about the 100 posts thing, as we already have to much crap posts/threads as it is. Maybe if they were limited on how many posts they could do in a day? I remember one noob going on every thread posting **** like hoot, woohoa, over and over again. Im sure it's so they can just get a post count up? To the OP sorry to hear you got screwed, it has only happend to me once on here.

Jason you have an extremely high level of tolerance. I would have already had my lawyers on this douche bag after the 4th week.

I recently bought a set of wheels from guestz. I actually overnighted him straight CASH money for the wheels. He could have done anything with it. We had no contract. My word vs. his and so fourth. But he did exactly what he said he was going to do AND THEN SOME!

Something has to be done about scammers. But what? Do your research people! That's what trader rating is for right?

You need to post a negative feedback in his iTrader rating so other potential buyers are aware of this scammer. And don't forget to include a link to this thread.

I bought my current rims from this guy! Sent him $2k+ and shipped the wheels promptly. He sucked on packaging and the wheels arrived with some rashes and dents, but we completed the transaction. Communication was awesome. We PM'd and even spoke with him over the phone.

....I hope your money is returned.

I hate scammers. I had the same problem with another seller. You should also check other forums to see if they have the same problems. My scammer had negative feedback on xxxdriver.com and on this forum he did not. Later he gives me a negative feedback because he said I did not write that he refunded me the money.
