But I don't think it will get that bad, the 300zx's still look good and they are usually not riced out.

 

I can't believe some of you don't know where the term ricer comes from. It's a play on the word racer. Since rice is the staple of the asian diet, the derogatory term ricer was coined to demean street racers driving crappy japanese automobiles.

 

i cant see it being a rice car, its a RWD sports car, not a FWD gas sipper, even with rice crap on it, it'd still be a fast good handling car.

Besides, i think the ricers are dying out pretty fast, i see less and less of them year after year

 

The Z is not riced YET until __________ starts getting into the scene. Not to be races but in cali, asians would get into the seen first but when _________ starts hopping in the bandwagon, the asians will find a new scene. For example, who started to drop/bodykits/intake/exhaust there cars first. Then next was the the motor swaps/jdm scene. Then the wannabe drift scene. Once the Z drops to $15k and under, watch out.

Ricing is the face of all evil, the culmination of the worst elements of the human condition. Ricer originated years ago in reference to Japanese Imports by Domestic Idiots

Over the years as japanese cars gained influence and the general public accepted the inherent better quality of Japanese cars the term has taken on a different meaning all together

Some hicks still call japanese cars "ricers" but the enthusiast community as a whole understands a "ricer" as an automotive idiot with very little actual automotive knowledge

They mod their cars to reflect their ignorance.....cheap non-functional, mostly cosmetic mods which usaully never enhance their cars

They buy all kinds of cars but usally talk out of their butt, lie, fabricate what they dont know and are generally ignorant to actual facts

I have seen ricers drive Neons, corvettes, Civics, altimas, 350's, you name it.....a stock 350 with a GT wing, stickers, valvestem lights, chrome 20's claiming he runs 12's all day = Ricer

Its a state of mind which is defined by pure ignorance --- they can drive any car and this will always be


Dont worry about what others drive.....focus on your car....prove the stereotype wrong....

 

depressing... but im pretty sure it wont get totally bad, it will never hit civic status, not even close... and by the time most people can afford them the old ones will be out of style enough that the buyers might look for something possibly better for the price range..

within the next few years though im sure we will be seeing alot more on the streets..

oh and also, the z looks like an expensive car, most people dont know you can get an old one that cheep, so they dont even look

 

im not a corvette fan from the start... but thats horrible

THE WORST THING EVER is to see a civic (or any other slower car) with a full on body kit/spoiler, trying to make it look like a car from the fast and the furious(not a huge fam of the first 2, the cars are pretty cool though, number 3 was horrible, i felt embarassed sitting in the move theater watching it) but they forgo the *****. then they start driving and it sounds like a lawn mower, then they try and floor it and it seems to go as fast as if i was going 45 mph and in 6th gear

 

Hate to break it to you but this isn't news. Have you NOT seen most cars on this site? Anything and everything has will always have "ricers" attracted to it.

Sadly, 85% of the peoples Z's on here look like ****.

 

i wouldnt say that high.. but yeah, theres a **** load of ricers on this forum
