Do any of you stop to think that people like us who mod their Z's account for about 1% of the Z owner population? Otherwise Nissan would have half of the "Prequisite my350Z.com Mods" installed from the factory on Enthusiast up models. Get over yourselves.

plus once the VQ hits over 1000whp consistantly then that will control the price as well

Thats just it! The cost of parts is the making of a ricer! Cant afford good parts... Well then I'll hit ebay, full exhaust from "Japan"$200.

It's time for guys to pick up the pipe and go FI, there is no turnning back!

I have gone back to my roots!

You see guys everyone can get riced, watch out!

I have good friends (ALBERTO) that watch out for me.

I was saved, but it was a close call

I have seen this, and totaly agree.

Therefore, we shall keep our cars clean and build/fix them in a very unique, clean looking way!

Also the thing that makes me be like "I'm glad I have a Z" and feel the same as to when I first got it knowing there only a few out there is that all new cars are coming out with 300HP+ , but only high end cars like BMW, Lexus etc. and our cars can keep up with those.

Now Kids might be able to purchase/finance a Z, but their insurance rates will be i'm sure as much as their payment. Making them able to not keep the Z for long.

This is pretty much true with any car given enough time and depreciation. I've seen Lexus 1990ish LS400s all fcuked up with chrome trims and cheap wheels as well as beat up Acura Legends and SC300-400s all riced out.

Rice all depends on your point of view.

Now if I start seeing the following:

Intercoolers with no FI
stickers for products you do not have on your car
a little fire extinguisher on your piller when you have a STOCK engine
A wing that is taller then a basketball player
a nameless muffler from e bay
A purge kit without any Nitrious hooked up to the car
a big EMPTY can of NOZ in your trunk

Other then that I'm fine with whatever people want to do with the Z. I might not like something they do to it and they might not like something I do to mine.

While I've never really tried I've ended up going with a JDM look to my car. 06 JDM tail lights, JDM clear reflectors, and 4/5th of my bodykit were made in Japan (the other part is pretty much a Nismo Replica).

Was I out to do the JDM thing? No. Some people might call my new wing rice. Other people thought my old billet grill was rice, while others really liked it.

Truth be told, as long as there are honda civics out there we won't have nearly as much rice as the honda guys have to deal with.

Just please, for the love of the Z stay away from the Top Gun Body kit and ebay replacement tail lights.

I kind of wish that too, but then again. If that does keep happening our insurance will be much higher!

I don't think it will ever be as bad as the civic. It does start out looking much nicer and will probably still be more expensive than a civic of the same year.

Naw once Junior crashes a couple of Z's his parents will step up and get him a GTR that way he has the all wheel drive safety feature that will stop him from t boning those bad drivers who thought they had the right of way.

i doubt the Z will be the new civic. Seriosuly the Z isnt headed anywhere near used civic prices so we all need to take a breather and realize insurance isnt going down anytime also . yea highmilage Zs are going for the teens but to tell u the truth it will never have a civics rep or presence.

i think, perhaps with people realizing that the car is an actual sports car, and is somewhat fast, they will be more performance oriented than putting on a 3ft aluminum wing

I think the aftermarket will reflect on if we will end up with rice infected vehicles. As of right now, we have a lot of nice parts for the Z. As long as the altezza buying, strobe light installin', 24" chrome rim ballin' owners don't mod the Z, we'll be fine.

I think we will be alright, the price for most products for are cars are more expensive than others. It cheaper to rice a honda than a Z. Thats what I'm hoping for
