I think the aftermarket will reflect on if we will end up with rice infected vehicles. As of right now, we have a lot of nice parts for the Z. As long as the altezza buying, strobe light installin', 24" chrome rim ballin' owners don't mod the Z, we'll be fine.

Most the 'ricers' drive Asian imports. Has nothing to really do with the muffler. The muffler is just a common trait that these damn people seem to like.
Same thing happened to the S2K community...but those cars still kept their "integrity" for the most part. I think the insurance thing will keep most of the Pep Boys modders out of the Z cockpits.
the z will never be a ricer insurance is too expensive, gas sux and parts are too expensive and yea you can buy cheap rip-off parts off ebay but as other threads show parts such as meagan break because of poor quality and craftsmanship
what if we use....reverse psychology? why dont "we" buy all the riced out civics and whatever you can your hands on, then maybe..., just maybe it will cause the focus of our Z's to be diverted.
