my thoughts exactly, if someone wants to rice their **** out fine, its their car. I think the thought of a bunch more 17 year old kids talkin **** and making the rest of the Z community look bad is more unnerving than a bunch of rice.

 

Z will not be the next RICE car. If anything it would be the Scion TC. They are much more affordable for the younger peopel. I cant believe how many of those TC I see throughout the day. It like Integra back in the late 90's. I think we will be ok.

 

It really won't bother me too much. I didn't buy my car to be in an exclusive club.

i think most people who buy a car to rice it out would rather get an srt4 or something before they would buy a z. ive seen soooo many of those cars driving around its sad....id say were safe

i disagree, their is a HUGE price difference between the civic and the Z or even an eclipse for that matter, the ones you see riced out are usally worth less then 10k, this means those retards won't be able to afford 1. the car itself, 2. insurance and 3. gas

 

Who cares? You can drive a bone stock 350z with a "fart can" and 19" wheels. And you'll still be a ricer is someone's eyes just cause you drive an import. I come from a mostly domestic car website and unfortunately that is how a lot of people think. So if owning a car that is or may be considered rice bothers you, you may just as well sell it now and buy a mustang. Then you'll simply be on the other side of the fence, and be considered a redneck drivin a tank.

 

also helps that the supra (if in good condition and turbo), is worth as much as a Z or more if its and 03 or 04.

 

what about a modded m3, would that count as riced?

 

With a full exhaust alone costing upwards of $8k i doubt you'll see many "riced out ones" But again. It all depends on what you consider rice.

 

i just hate seeing Zs with chrome dubs or with nasty tin can sound exhuast.

Zs are pretty expensive to mod and i dont think pep boys or auto zone will make nasty copies of body kits and etc.

 

We'll just have to wait and see.
Of course we'll get few ricers but it won't be as bad as other cars.

yea.. ...i vote the scion tc to be the next rice car. Z prices for mods are double triple of any honda part. So yea it doesnt make sense its rare that sports cars become rice ...usually sports compacts.

 

what's rice about that? i think it looks good
