I'm posting this in a few forums to get a good cross-section of opinions...

In the past couple months, it has seemed as though the police have been a LOT more active in pulling people over and enforcing traffic laws. My Dad was saying how it's not all local, too, since on a road trip he went on from Boston to Philly, he saw a lot more than ususal. Even in day to day outings, where I might see ONE cop, I now see 3 routinely.

Opinions?

Here in MO there have been a lot more city police around, but not on the highways.
