Default I did Not Wreck my 350Z today

I just wanted to make a quick post to say that I did not wreck my 350z today while driving on a freeway in heavy rain. I was traveling at about 80 mph and a torrential downpour started. I let off the gas and let my speed decrease to about 60 mph. There were a few large puddles and areas with standing water so I slowed down to about 45 to pass through them. I somehow managed to make it through without fishtailing or mysteriously losing control of the car and putting it into a ditch or concrete wall. I have a 2006 Z with Hotchkis springs / OEM shocks, 19"x9 front with 245/35/19 at ~31 psi, 19"x10 rear with 275/35/19 at ~33 psi Toyo T1R tires with about 7k miles on them.

Maybe I will get flamed for this post, but I figured the Z could use some good press since so many people have a tendency to lose control of them in heavy rain. Safe driving, folks.

rofl. Ive never lost control of the Z on the highway even with rain and one time in the middle of a blizzard. Slow and steady gets you there safe.

Mature grown ups like you **** me off. You deserved everything you got. It's just too bad that no pedestrians were hit because of your actions.

OP, you deserved it. You have no one to blame but yourself. You should just go back to driving civics if you can't even flip the car end over end 3 times, while driving in the rain at 80mph. You obviously do not appreciate/respect the Z's power.

i guess this is a thread to oppose the "i wrecked my z"...respectable...but utterly useless...most people DONT their z in the rain so i dont think we really need this thread...not being mean...just straight forward.

I didn't wreck mine either. Of course, it's been sitting in a shop for 2 months with no motor, but that's beside the point...
