Please use a different dealership. No reason to keep hounding one that does not care to fix it. Do you think they would do a quality job if it was forced to work on your car?

Take it to another dealership that actually cares about customers and Zs!

I just called Stateline Nissan about my 03 tranny that started grinding in 3rd this week (ugh). So far, (knock on wood) they have been a pleasure to work with and seem willing to fix the problem under the powertrain warranty. I might look into axle clicking if the warranty is really up next month or so.

Yes, like ^ said .. and he should know. Take it somewhere else. If they charge dianostic. Pay for it and when bill is settled submit to NISSAN for reinbursement. Or, better yet call NISSAN Factory Rep ... bet they'll pay for it as soon as you do that. I mean for gosh sake .. all they have to do is file the paperwork. I sure hope they're not charging and filing. NISSAN will be upset not to mention the courts.
I really doubt that. Just lazy / unknowing manager.

If this is truely the axle clicking or bearing issue which we all expect it is... Should be a non-issue.
