Everyone Else: Remain Calm! This is good news for you too(I think....I hope). Maybe many of you who have yet to receive order numbers will shortly be receiving yours, along with a VIN at same time.
In a post at zcar, I have politely asked ZISME to offer some guidance and direction for those of you who have not received order numbers yet. Granted, I don't think he has ever replied to a post of mine, or an email of mine, but there is always hope for a first time!
I applaud all of you who have not yet received order numbers, as you have remained very calm during this time when others are receiving their VINS. Even if you are frustrated, and have posted your frustrations, I still consider that remaining calm. I totally support your posting of your frustrations, and would think that Nissan should be pleased that you/we have. This information has to be valuable for them. Imagine if we didn't have this forum, and couldn't share our information. I know I would be a complete basket case, waiting for information from my dealer. And Nissan, without our feedback, might think the system is working without flaw.
It's been confusing for us on where to direct our frustration. In the majority of cases, we don't know if the dealer is to blame for us not receiving information, or if Nissan hadn't provided this information to them yet.
Well, know this. ZISME advises that all of our dealers have the ability RIGHT NOW to tell us when our car is scheduled to be produced, and when it is scheduled to be delivered. (Dates subject to change, of course). If you have not received this information, I have requested that ZISME advise us what to do. Hopefully his response will be specific, and not in generalities.
Do you think I am out of line in making this request?
Thanks again to everyone for your continued participation in the sharing of information. I hope it has, and will continue to be a source of support during these final days of waiting.

I looked at the spreadsheet and see that I can add some more info.
Auto info: Brickyard, Touring, AT and all options.
Just got news today that September 4th is the delivery date.
Will have the VIN soon, the GM w/ that info is supposed to be at work any minute now.

Soup indigestion
Not directed at Scafremon, Soup is great information & thanks for the effort.
(Whining begins)
VIN soup for me is giving me heartburn. Classic case of too much information is not good for you. Anyone else with an early (January) order date annoyed that orders placed much later are being filled before you? In my case, some lucky guy who ordered in May gets the same Chrome silver Enthusiast two months ahead of me. He waits three months while I get to wait nine. Of course dont blame him. The annoyance is the lack of a rationale for production on Nissan's part. If cars were being built by color, or model type, I'd have no beef, but the seemingly random approach sucks for those of us holding the short straw. There has to be some rationale for the order in which cars are built. Nissan is holding out on us, the truth is out there (get Mulder and Scully on the case). OK, I'll stop whining now

Finally got some information from my salesman - of course I had to call him and tell him how to get it using ZISME's information on what reports are available. News not so good.
Tracking number W1804XX. Expected delivery NOVEMBER!!!
Ordered 3/26.
I see some folks with W XXXXXXX tracking numbers are expecting October deliveries. I hope that is the case.
