paypal will not refund your money over this. paypal is satisfied if you have received your item and leaves it up to the buyer and seller to deal with specifics and details. if your item was not as described paypal says tough luck. Ive had it done numerous times to me. Sucks man, good luck.

Actually, yes they will.

I bought a set of headers here a few years ago for my former Z. Was told they were Stillen headers. Got them, took a brief look at them, they seemed fine. Well, I finally get time to install them like 2 months down the road. Pull them out and immediately notice the Stillen badge is missing. Welds look like ***, straight up knock-off headers (some SS Autochrome type ****). Contact Paypal, and send the seller emails and PMs. He never responds, so I get in touch with his local PD and I let him know I did. Also, Paypal started their investigation. A couple weeks later, I had my money. Tried to get back in touch with the seller to give him his crap-*** headers back, but no luck.

So I sold them bitches for the same price I bought them for. But I at least informed the buyer of everything I thought about them (he didn't care much).

Had the same issue with Strup Headers and paypal told me as long as I got my items that they could do nothing about it. I think its something new they are doing because years ago I was able to get money back before for wrong descriptions of items.

That's some BS right there... you should be able to get your money back if you didn't recieve what you paid for. So I guess I can sell my stock turbo and say it's a 42R... as long as they get the turbo, doesn't matter, right? Makes no sense... **** Paypal if they're really doing that.

Yep. Paypal is not what it used to be. They used to be on the buyers side. Now they dont care as long as an item was sent and received.

First of all, I really do hope you get your $$$ back.
I also hope that you learned a lesson here,
don't buy knock offs. Get the real deal, and you
won't find yourself in situations like this.
I'm not trying to come off as an a-hole either,
but I just see too many bad replicas, and unhappy
buyers feeling the effects.
Like I said, i hope you get your $$$ back from that guy.

i dont' think this guy was uncapable of saying...ooo, i'm selling a geniune Nismo part...the point is a scammer is a scammer...this guy might have been perfectly happy with his ABS part that fit right...as advertised...has nothing to do with buying the real deal...he would have just lost more money in this case...

I know that replicas are not prefect....
I figured if it is ABS plastic and the seller was asuring me the fitment is perfect they would be close enough.....

Here is what he said in one of the PMs:

Its ABS Plastic bro...the quality is very good and the fitment is perfect...tell you what..if your not happy with it I'll even let you return it hows that? I really need to get some tires

yea I got burned on here too by a seller named Tac-M. So much for iTrader ratings. Since then I only buy parts locally through craigslist or by driving to the place/person in So Cal selling. You gotta see things in person or take your chances.
