im looking to trade in my 05 touring coupe, for an 06 roadster with only 18k miles. Problem is, when i went to look at it, the wheels have been stolen on thanksgiving.

The car is just sitting on jacks. my concern is, has the car been dropped to the floor due the wheels stolen?

the carfax is clean as of now.

what do you guys think?

Ask for the best wheels they have to offer?? I don't know bout buying a car that was broken into before you even bought it.. Would concern me that if it was broken into at a dealer what would happen on the streets.

they are just replacing it with the same wheels.

probably no big deal...go check really closely and make sure it never fell from the jacks..also check so see if while they were at it, if they stole anything inside. look closely for scratches...etc... If its still up on jacks and they just went out and bought replacement wheels then its probably fine...punks just stole the 06 wheels for DRiiiiiiFTING...........

have them add brembos and nismo rims. problm solved. nobody wants to buy a car that was broken into anyways

put on the wheels first and check for any signs of squeeking or any noises. take it on the freeway and aslo observe it being driven by some 1 else. have it checked out by a mechanic... that should do it
