From what I've heard, the Flex's are very harsh even on the softest setting.

I have the Flex's and I will say that for them being on my DD their not that bad. Also I have them set at the middle setting, but the ride really depends on the person.

Lowering your ride an inch or so, makes a big difference in appearance in my opinion. You can lower it with springs and camber kits and not even spend $1000. You can spend the rest on a more worthwhile college endeavor, like buying weed.

Stock Z is just fine.
Id say at the very least get rims....then put the rest in the bank.

Suspension...it's far more worthwhile than the exhaust.

My friend dumped thousands into a track-like suspension setup, complete with custom rate springs, valving to match, rear coilover conversion, etc. and a NISMO rear diff before even going near the exhaust.

Suspension + LSD will change the way your car drives (for the better) more than any other mods short of a twin turbo kit.

You can adjust the coilovers but not the tone/volume of the exhaust parts. A set of sway bars wouldn't hurt either.

I'd say just get a set of Stance coil-overs and wheels and stop there. I totally regret not doing that plan from the very beginning.

I was just thinking if I have a nice car like the 350Z, I should at least add some things to it. But thanks for letting me know. I will definately keep in mind.

On the other hand, looks like if I'm about to do anything, suspension is my best bet. Thank you very much guys! I really appreciate all your opinion.
If you just want to go for looks I say get some Tanabe NF210. They drop you 1.2 all around and some KYB shocks. Put the rest of the money away for a rainy day.
