I don't know if someone said this, but do you have the same tires? Traction makes a huge difference. Type of gas?

 

why the hell would you put a lower/higher grade than premium on a stock Z???????

 

Could be a simple matter of product tolerances.

step one- go to a real track

step two- do some runs on this real track

step three- post up your time slips. if they are way better than others with stock 2003 Z by a big time factor, then you got someting to stand on. until then, you are just talking crap with nothing to back it up.

 

heres what i think...............most Z's have awesome freak motors and just a few have crappy ones those are the ones that always get beat

 

haha. .K&n StocK Style Filter's i think a waste of $. . unless you dont plan to change anything but even then. . i think the stock filter's breathe better. . .

Did my title say I KILLED THIS CAR??? NO! I was asking if ANY of you could beat CARS that they shouldent be BEATING.

I dident buy a drop in k&n, it was already on the car. If I was gonna spend $$ I would of just got a pop charger.

ALSO Racing on a track, and a street is a WHOLE diffrent story. Ive never been to the track, so I might run slower on the track then the street. The pavment is so much different.

thread = fail. there's no use in speculating on whether you or your Z is magical...take it to a track and post a time slip. That's the only way.

 

My stock 03 base is faster than yours. Way faster. I've not only beat cars that I "shouldent" (and we are the "more dumb posters" ), it kills them. True story.

i have an 03 350z enthusiast with some little mods and i ruin the new z's and yes i work 6mt's also....all i have is UR crank pully, motordyne spacer, nismo exhaust and had my car tuned at tecknosquare....

Different gas stations have different premium octanes,some 93 some 91. Don't know how much of a difference that makes though.

and im sure tires have alot to do with it.. i bet our thread starter doesnt put the same potenza's on, when you can get stickier tires for "racing"

 

we should just all meet up and race each other. . like that show PINKS ALL OUT. . .then we can see whose Z is faster. . HAHA
