Nice looking Cobalt. But, I dont care how fast you make that thing, its still a Cobalt! End of story. And lets not even get into the FWD vs RWD discussion. Sometimes people buy cars not just for how fast they are, but for how they feel, drive...and having driven a Cobalt, it feels like what it is, an inexpensive Chevy.

i agree with you. i bought a decent performing econobox and made it my own. its definitely fast for what it is. trust me, i have said it like a hundred times in this thread how much respect i have for the z's and how i was about to buy one if it wasn't for nissan trying to rape me on the interest rate.

I like the ss. When It came out I always called it an american rsx. I've seen them race stock for stock and there virtually even. Now NO **** 19lbs of boost or w,e the fck ur running with a bottle is gonna smoke a Z. But put a supercharger and a bottle on a Z and see how far behind you end up being.. I hate when people mod slower cars and say look I'm faster. Duh.. I'm stock and your not. I can't fight wit you tho. I did that with my turbo'd civic. I smoked Z's. Ran with STi's.... It's funn. If I was to go american I'd for got a mustang or the cobalt. Altho the cobalt's stlying is no where near a Z's.... That's y I got a Z. If I wanted just pure speed and tuning and modding. I woulda been looking at EVO IX's or STi's.... But I wanted more styling.... When I heard the cobalt was going turbo'd. First thing in my head was it sucks for the supercharged guys who are gonna be shitted out of the turbo'd ones. Who knows tho. *** some styling to your car. Give some show with the go lol. Have fun and drive..

As for daddy's car. It's what everyone says. Get your 06 airbox bck with K & N drop ins.. True dual exhaust. Either test pipes or HFC.. Which ever he wants.. Plenum and MREV2.... Have fun.

how can you smoke Z's and run with STi's, when Z's can run with STi's for the most part, that doesn't make any sense. turboed civics are a joke

BlazingSS, looks like you offended a lot of people here. I personally have no respect for Cobalts (SS). I beat one from a light with a 94 stock Acura Integra. I left him two times. He just sat there spinning tires and I was gone. Anyway, my point is I never tried to race one because I already know how they perform. Maybe you've done some stuff to yours but I doubt you will beat a Z on the highway. Anyway, even if you are telling the truth that peice of crap American car won't out last it. Sorry, for the mean rhetoric but American cars are made crappy. A month ago I saw a Mustang trying to turn a corner fast; the freaking parts started falling off the car. Nuts and bolts were flying by me. Do yourself a favor trade that in and get a 350Z. I'm also tired of seeing SRT's; everybody and their grandma has one here in the Atlanta area. Yes, they're fast...but for how long before they break down and they only can go in a straight line...like most American cars. AMERICAN VEHICLES SUCK!!!!

Man I just bought and put on an Injen True Dual exhaust system and it sounds absolutely amazing...a really deep tone that doesn't sound anything like a ricer. Search for "2007 Nissan 350z Injen exhaust" on youtube
