Thank you... I'm 58 and just got my Z around Christmas... the line I get most is I'm going through mid life crisis or the one I like the best is "manapause". I've been driving sports cars all my life and proof that the Z is something special is this is the first one I get this kind of reactin with...

I love this car!

I hope I am as ambitious or at least physically able to do that when I am your age
I'm 35 and it sounds like we have the same habits. If it's 29deg or above the soap won't gel up on the Z when you wash it I had a hose spigot put in my garage and keep the hose reel in there year round. My outside handles are removed so the neighbors can't use 'em because I sure never need them. It sounded like I was dragging my frame about 1/4 of the time on the way to work the other day but I've never had much trouble in the 3 winters with the Z so far.
I feel old crawling under cars anymore but I'll keep doing all the work on my own until I just can't anymore.
Rock on!
BTW, your pic is too dark to tell what rubber you have on those factory wheels. You are DRIVING that thing aren't you? I hope you have winter tires! Either way I give you lots of credit

Dunlop M3 Sports snow tires. So far they've been great in the snow.

That SO looks nice in the snow. I can relate. When I clean my car after a rain with more rain to come people ask why. I tell them to get the oil and acid off there. It will last much longer. They just shake their heads. Hey, I'm the guy with a 15-38 year old cars that work perfect and look showroom. I'm OK with that. They're the ones that are trading their cars in every 5 for a new version. That's OK too. I just like to get the most out of my money.

That nails it right there. I traded in a '94 Ford Probe GT for my Z. Kelley Blue book was $500 and they gave me $900! The last several years I even relaxed a little and only washed it twice a month sometimes but I did care for it 100x better than most people. Granted cars are not an investment but they typically are the second most expensive thing most of us own, I don't know why people don't care for them even a little. That's OK though, just stay away from mine and I don't care what you do to yours!

Since a couple of you have mentioned Ford Probes. I owned a 1989 Probe GT Turbo. Bought it new drove it 150K miles and traded it in too. I got $3500 for mine after 15years of ownership. Never had a single problem with that car. It was great !!!! I just knew that it's time was up and parts for them were beginning to be scarce.

I love my 350Z. It gets the same mileage twice the HP, twice as fast, handles twice as well, and is twice the fun..... Not that I didn't have a blast in the old Probe in the snow etc.... I wouldn't drive my Z in the snow now. I have a JEEP for that duty now.
