A post on Freshalloy.com today indicated a possible delay in production of several weeks due to the quality of the pre-production models. Info came from a dealership GM. Anybody here getting the same information from their contacts?

Main reason I'd like to know the delivery month of my car is so I can block out some vacation time in advance. Still waiting on word from my dealership.

 

i called my dealer today (Younker Nissan, Renton, WA), and my salesman told me that he was told my car would be coming in the first shipment b/c it's chrome silver. he says the shipments are being sent out by color order, and that only TWO cars out of their 16 sold were not chrome silver. ahhh! hehe. ah well.

 

14 Chrome Silvers? OMG.. if that happens to me, I will probably take other colors just to be different...

 

Just got word from my dealer that my vehicle will be part of the first shipment (pre-order was faxed to Nissan 1/15/02). I was beginning to think that people who ordered Track models would be at the back of the line. Guess that's not the case.

 

AAAARRRGGG. I also ordered Daytona Blue/Track. My dealer didn't know anything as of yesterday. Congrats on your great news. Take me for a ride if i don't get my before the first snow?!
