Ya think? LOL. Wow, proof that STI owners are frontal lobe challenged. Can picture the guy sitting at his computer frothing he is so angry that someone would dare to call his STI an ugly 4 door........which it is isn't it? And we are so slow.......and good for nothing....and the mighty STI, especially a 2004, is drop dead gorgeous (means pretty Sully). Who are you really kidding.
First, act at least like you are a member of adulthood. (that is 18 Sully).
Secondly....park your car next to a Z and sit back and watch. Girls older than 18, people who dress classy, business men/women, will all look at the Z. Now you are correct, little kids, ricers, and those that are mentally challenged will look at the STI.
Third, did you see anyone on a Z sight go off like a nutcase on STI's? No, most everyone said they are a good car, just different. You on the other hand, go all neo-**** on everyone on here for saying they have pulled on an STI. You are exactly...EXACTLY the type of STI owner that we all didn't want to be, that is why we bought the Z. That evolved portion of our brain steered us to a car that has gotten respect the world around. I hope you do get punted off of here, you bring nothing educated to the table. Read your posts dummy, my 13 year old asked if you ever went to school after he read your posts.
Aren't you speed limited to 155? If that is the case, then you can't take us top end either. Oh yeah, I edited, I noticed a spelling mistake, something you would need to know how to spell to do. Maybe in a few years for you......

It just blows me away that an STI owner would be cruising 350Z forums just to raise issues. Then again, maybe he is a closet 350Z lover?

lol...i live on base w/ my 03 blck track w/ nismo lips/spoiler/rims/etc....
And i dont want to even get into how many "looks" ive recieved from everyone...I am the second to lowest rank (im new to USAF) and even Officers and chiefs give me some remarks about my "sports car" and how good it looks and how i can afford etc etc....

Now there is three wrxs and one sti on base...04-07's.....Keep in mind mines a 2003...But when rolling by one of these the wrx owners dont even seem to look my way...There windows are up and at a glance you could easily mistake these for a corolla ..hell ill even give you a corolla TYPE S......whats sad?? The corolla type s is actually lower than a wrx and looks as aggressive..I know because theres a black wrx sitting next to a grey type s frequently...

Its a drivers race between all of us. (13.8-14.0 bone stock & a friends 04 z) and i only paid 17k for mine...So take your cargo space and ill take my super exotic looks..
but when someone comes into the parking lot...

They expect a young, immature (at times), younger KID that wanted the cool turbo sound and awd to walk to the car, put his back pack in the backseat..roll all the windows down..and bump away..... (excluding those that bought them for specific reasons)...

When people see me walking to my car, if near, they might ask, (actual comments btw) "are those nismo parts???" "Thats a nice little car there.." "thumbs up from a older white gentlemen in a beautiful blck c5 vette who parked near me (Far away at a lowes)" ..they expect someone of more maturity, style, someone who knows what they want, knows what they want to say and doesnt care what others think...

So when your comparing your wrx/sti to a 350z you should first think about the kind of people buying the cars first then make ridiculous comments....

People mistake our cars for porsches...Not corollas.....

So sure....Beat us by a few tenths down the street..How many times a day does that happen?????
Not as much as you pull into a parking lot w/ a decent audience or rolling down the street with people gazing at your car...

So you take your victory down an empty street when nobody cares. And ill take my comments and attention everywhere i go. But in the end, even after you sneak in a comment...."well, my cars faster...." the people are still going to want you to prove it. Why.

Because our cars looks, acts, reacts, drives, sounds more like a sports car then your ...9..10..11...12..13..second 4 door ever will...
350z's look faster parked than your wrx/sti does moving.

ps...i come from the ghetto streetracing streets of fresno,california..where sti's/wrx/evos ruled the races (awd on street pwns)...my best friends had them and i love the cars...but even they bowed down to bolt on z's driven correctly or h22 ek'eg'dc2' and bolt on rsx's, sr20'd nissans and everything else And like everything else..the car is a representation of you, if your a dick, your cars going to have a huge "dick" decal on it......

So show respect and appreciate your fellow tuners...Even if some of them pick wack platforms...Its there dream, there project, there choice,just like you so dont be an a#$hole to them. Unless they really deserve it.

ok, so this the best thing i've heard so far:


STi driver: "Did you buy your Z because of its looks?"

Z driver: "Did you buy your STi so you can carry my kids when your girlfriend has them?"

 

This says it pretty well. When I got into racing seriously it doesn't take long before you realize someone else always has a faster car. Therefore, you don't put down a slower car at the track if you want to stay on the track. The reason for this is the guy could be faster than you the next week and bump you off if he spends enough money.

I don't understand this my car is better than your car thing anyways. I try to race my best and see if it's good enough for a win. On the street, since you can't go fast anyways, I bought a Z because it handles well, get pretty good mileage for a performance car, looks like a race car, has modern interior that is laid out well for cruisin', my wife can drive it, very reliable and sounds good without waking the neighbors at 4a when I leave for work.

For the track I'd build something else.

It always amazes me when people with slow cars (compared to other fast cars on the street) start bashing each others stuff. It a little short sighted imo.

I too drove a Sti and found it to be so-so ride, so-so quality, so-so looks, and just not nearly as much fun as a Z. I bought the Z to drive everyday at speeds that most people drive and I didn't want to rev the heck out a car to do it. The Z is just a lot more comfortable to drive and look at with a good dose of fun thrown in.

 

Holy ****ing **** this thread is full of immense amounts of fail from both sides.

The ONLY thing I'ma get in on in this post is that the STI owner from the first post is a dick. Everything else in this thread (save about 5 or so posts that actually make sense) is ********.

Faster or slower it doesn't matter. I've been at the shop and seen a Acura Integra I didnt talk to the owner and start bashing him with Im faster, simply because theres always another car faster than you, no matter what.

 

Yea you're right older people do drive the Z's, as well as the corvettes,vipers,porsche,many exotics. But I wouldn't call them "old hags" cause you'll get there too.

I would rather buy a car that will impress girls rather than guys because all the girls that I know, think STi is ugly as hell.
