Default How much is everyone paying to register their Z's?

California I heard is going to triple the cost to register a car, so I was wondering how much everyone is paying for their Z registration. I remeber paying around $200 to register my old car. I just need to know if I am going to have to get another job just to pay for the registration of my 2 cars.

I've seen someone post that they have to pay $626 (California) and $79 (IL). Just seems so crazy that it varies so much. Thanks for you input Duflacci, my registration will be up in November. I hope it is around $300 too.

Yep...so expensive here in CA, not to mention that we pay the higher gas price as well.....On top of that, the State are full of gang bangers.

Paid $274 in May when I bought my Z.

The Calif. fee is a total scam IMO. Several years ago the DMV purchased a multi million $ computer system that didn't work. Don't know if they ever got it fixed.
All us Cali's want to know how the Gov went from a 38 billion dollar surplus to a 38 billion dollar deficit! Thats $76 billion squandered away to...where & what?

Arrrghhhhhhhhh!!

50-something bux here in Ohio (w/ personalized plate).

In Mississippi, my mom was paying $300+ annually for my Frontier. For her Caddy, it is a lot more (I think like $600) because it's a luxury car.

Discount? You dont need a discount if it's only $79. I could only wish mine was under $100.

Arizona has some of the highest regristration fees in the nation....

$550 for mine....

October is coming up soon and I'll need to do it again... should be about $490 this year. It drops each year as the value of the car goes down

I wonder why the fees vary so much from $25 all the way up to $1710 . I guess I will have to wait to see how much mine is going to be, thanks for all the input.
