its a safety feature, when the ecu reads the brake and gas at the same time is cuts the throttle.

please tell me you turned off the TCS or VCS??? If not, your problem might be the 7 speed tranny or that you topped out at 140mph....haha I'm just playing with ya, but if you really desire to do a burnout and can't get it to work, just turn your wheel completely to one side and smash the gas, that usually does the trick

p.s. You'll probably do a 180 at first, and then when the laterall momentum stops you'll just sit there and spin

p.s.s. please tell us why you're attempting this in the first place? getting new tires?

youve got to neutral drop it into reverse and then while still on the gas drop it into neurtal for a sec then back into drive. after that the ecu knows you mean buisness and never takes power away from you again. then nissan mails you their OEM NOS bottle warmer. super rare jdm

it is a built in failsafe mechanism in the car the detects idiotic behavior and automatically prevents the car from doing what the operator wants to do. too bad it isn't perfected though, that is why there is still street racers but it looks like it works pretty good against those that thinks it is cool to do burnouts.
