Oh Man, there's your problem. Suntrup Blooooows. I will never deal with them even though they are very close to where I live. I got mine at Bommaritio in North County. Its the only dealer in MO that has the Nissan star of approval rating or whatever its called. I feel your pain. They are indeed shady...
They wanted to give me 700 bucks for my Audi trade-in. I ended up getting 2500 for it at another dealer. What's funny is they didn't even seem to care or even want my business. I guess they roll enough people to pay the bills and then some.

I see 2 options:
1) Gather *all* of the paperwork and visit the biggest local TV station. They love things like this.
2) Gather *all* of the paperwork and visit an attorney.
Loosing $2200 is not an option, at least it wouldn't be for me. The dealership knew what they were doing and it wasn't a "misunderstanding". You have to get smart very, very fast.

This was the same car that they quoted me for $32,500 a week ago. If I take out the extra I got for my original trade in, this mistake will end up costing me about $2200 (on top of paying the difference between the Base and Touring models). So my options with them are to either take this new deal or keep my car. I've talked to a lawyer about taking this to court and he told me that the case could go either way, and if I did do something like that I'll end up paying that much in legal fees anyway. So I've got some thinking to do, but none of my options seem that great to me right now.

ABC nissan in Scottsdale AZ had a salesman try to sell me my 2007 Enthusiast model. He tried to tell me the grand touring had higher horsepower lmao. I feel your pain because my wife went through it once. Lesson learned is to always do your homework. Any updates on this crappy situation?

Man... i bought my track for little less than that (24k out the door).
With brand new 009 trans, New Throttle body w/ New ECU, New control arms and bushings and new engine sensors. Plus 100k Nissan extened warantee.
You have to do homework when you buy a new/used car. You have to go in and know exactly what you are talking about, otherwise dealer will rip you off. And about the salesman... They dont know $hit for sure!

Similar happened to me. Dealer tried to sell me touring and say it was special edition because it was 05. Didnt matter though, because the price was great for a touring (it was slightly used at an Acura dealership) so i took it as he had downs syndrome and just bought the car - another grand.
