Do you think maybe that has something to do with misunderstanding exactly what you were buying?

I talked to 3 manager who work for nissan and they said i'm sorry blablabla
they also told me that I can't get my money back and its not their resposbility...
what a BS
i know i should've check everything before sign on the paper but i couldn't tell the difference..
like i said all the paper shows 350ZR GT =(

anyways they kept saying that the Autotrader, Printer company's fault =( Reason that i got mad cause the Nissan boss came up to me and he didn't say anything to me first and then he told me "SEE YOU AT THE COURT" and he left...

thats why i got pissed off... =(

i know there is not that difference between GT and T and I got GT wheels and GT seats and shitty feeling inside of my mind.

GT got BremboŽ braking system Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and T doesn't..

They said they will give me the Z-tech(clean the engine and stuff i can use it for twice a year, this coupon valid for 3yrs ($399), and unlimited free car wash (but normal coupon got 3yrs for $99 but i get unlimited) and 9 times free engine oil change (about $400) and EMPLOYEE discount on brembo break and also employee discount on install (i've heard that they get 50% off or more)

Shoud I take this offer and drive a Z around?

or should I sue them?

P.S sorry about my bad English.
Clearly, the dealer is in breach of your contract and they have clearly attempted to cure the breach through what they have offered you. If you still want a Z I say you should just take the concessions the dealer is offering, and if you don't want the Z anymore (I wouldn't blame you), you should just get your money back.

and with that statement right there, you should just forget about suing them. considering there are many sources available, to include the dealership, 350z brochures, and the nissanusa site that you can research and know exactly what you are getting prior to making a purchase. sorry but that is the truth.

How the f**k is it the printing company's fault? Sure they mislabeled it in the paper or whatever. But the Bill of Sale says GT from what you told us.

So NOW it is Nissan's fault cause they did like yourself and didn't check the car over. Not to mention the VIN should have showed them the correct model.

So how can they not assume any responsibility?

Hopefully you're just trying to help the guy out with his english, rather than being patronising.

By the way, when you use 'its' as a substitute for 'it is', you need to include an apostrophe (it's).

You should also remember that Patronising is spelled Patronizing </SPAN>

I knew I'd get something wrong

I do have a legitimate excuse though - I'm english and that's how we spell it back there.

Anyway, back on topic, I feel for the OP. I bought my Z (we call it a Zed back in the UK) over here and found the experience pretty painful. It really helps if you do your homework, but there are so many spec levels that it's not always easy.

OP, I feel sad for your situation. But there is obviously a problem with communication. To get the best output you have to put in correct input. We don't even know for sure if the car is new, used, what year, who did the modification of wheels and seats, and you haven't provided the sticker or sales statement that has been requested by people trying to help you.

Selling you brakes at employee prices doesn't cost them a thing. That doesn't make up for the mistake and is an insult. If the contract was between you and them, it makes no difference where they got the car. That's all fast footwork. It is their problem, not yours.
-the only way, without skidding the car around, to know it has VDC is if the button to turn it off hasn't been changed and says VDC instead of TC. Very few purchasers would know that, but a dealer should know it immediately.
-You also may have missed the brembo brakes as an uninformed buyer relying on paperwork and in the excitement, but the dealer has no excuse.

When did they realize the error? If they didn't, they are inept and should be responsible. If they did and didn't disclose, they are dishonest and should be legally sanctioned.

Bummer. So, instead of getting $3500 Brembos, you are going to let them scratch up your car and maybe change your oil? Good luck with that.

What is with these problems lately. I think people are getting spring fever, want a Z so bad they go to the dealer and get rolled.

Maybe its an age thing. I spent almost a year on this site 'and others' doing research and eventually 'ordered' mine. Hah. When you truley know what you want... you get what you want...

This is NOT that difficult.

1) Run the VIN number. It'll tel you whether it's a Touring or a Grand Touring. No emotions, just facts.

2) If the contract says a GT and the VIN ID say it's a Touring, then you have a case of FRAUD going on at the dealership: They sold you something that they didn't have!

3) Don't take *any* of the 'freebies' from the dealer. They are free to them, which is why they are offering them to you!

um, that might work for the dealer inventory system, but just going over and decifering a VIN number nowhere in that string of letters and numbers does it tell you what specific submodel you have. even a carfax report will not specify a particular submodel, just that it is a 350Z and the code after it says wheter it is a convertible or not.

dude....STOP bein' a wuss about the situation and talk to a lawyer. Tell them if they don't remedy the situation, you will sue them for fraud, the money lost, your personal time/pay, and any lawyer fees.

You paid for something... you should get exactly that something and not something minus some.
