Yeah, my dealer put it on, even after i told them not to. I said unless you're paying me money to advertise your dealership, take the crap off... it looks ridiculous.

MY Z had them on but I made them remove them before I took delivery of the car. A heat gun takes them right off...

I asked the dealer not to put them on, make a long story short it took me and my friend 3 hours to get to the dealer when it should have taken 45 minutes-encountered a huge wreck that closed the Baltimore beltway. I didn't notice until I got home, took them off that very night, they came right off. Can't really gripe I got a good deal on the car.

Most of the time if it's just a sticker it'll come off really easily with WD-40. I would ask them to take it off before you take it home if it realy bothers you, most places will.

I told my dealer not to put anything, anywhere on the car. The dealer complied.

I stopped by the dealership and one was already on, days before I picked it up. When I did pick it up, it was no longer there. The salesman said he took it off since it did not look good. I appreciated that.

I like your motto!

Not only did my dealer put a sticker on which I removed, they had those ridiculous license plates with the dealer's name.

I refuse to be a driving billboard for any dealership.

Default i totally agree

around here, in the houston area, the dealerships can get pretty competitive with the sticker and sticker size
i was in this one mazda dealership downtown- they had metal dealership logos pressed into the car, like if you removed it, there would be a big ugly dent where it was

they also had this miata that they made a custom stupid trim level for
it got about 8K extra on the price... rediculous
they just make crap up and expect you to buy their advertizements which are frikkin part of the car

the dealership im buying from uses easy to remove adhesive lettering and stencils (or whatever)
since i do like their dealerships, i wont ask them do take the crap off, i will do it myself

My dealer on did a license plate frame. Obviously very easy to remove.

my dealer attached a sticker and a license plate frame. the sticker only took 5 minutes to get off and i kept their license plate frame on until i got my Z one about a month ago.

neither really bothered me. now if they would've drilled holes in my car for a front plate bracket i would've been pissed.

No stickers for me, but I did have a plate frame--quickly removed when I got home. lol They even promised not to drill holes in my front bumper. Good thing, too, because I would have left the car there.

Default The first thing I do...

...is take off the plastic license holder that the dealers put on. Free advertising? Uh, noooo!

Only this time on my Z the dealer used thick wood screws to attach the frame holder to the car. Let me tell you, it was a pain in the *** to remove--like a one hour pain the in *** job! I couldn't believe it--wood screws going into metric bolts??

Apparently this happens quite a bit--I guess they don't want you to remove them!
