1. Most vette guys don’t fck around on the street because they take it to the track! that’s what a majority of owners believe...
and you obviously have never cruised with vettes before because plenty of them also open it up on back roads... sorry you won’t see many roll racing ricer style...
2. please do some research on the LS series of engines... they get better gas mileage than the VQ.... and take the mods a hell of a lot better
3. Also the demographic that buys vettes they are a pretty affluent group..(just like you would find in other car communites) ever wonder why lingenfelter does so well
4. styling is subjective so I wont comment on that
your comments are just as bad as the guy saying a 350 isnt a sports car LMAO

I agree with your comments here.
I love the vette and I like the z as well.

history, nostalgia, wins, etc. are all on the corvettes side, its name goes hand in hand with motor sports. And for anyone to deny this, is a fool. The 350Z is a sports car with no experience to say. Lets face it the 350Z aint winning **** but drift competitions. If that were a true sport car list in chronological order the 350Z would be way down the ladder and the corvette would be top 10.

But dont be too hard on the guy... If you notice he only knows about Z's"drifting" an obvious sign of a youngster..

Skeet, review this video for a quick sum of the history of the Z and John Mortin that was a Pro racer in a 240z back in the 70s.

I've owned two vettes, an '02 z06 and an '06 z06. Both awesome cars. The 427 car is just an outright animal. Freight-train acceleration and tq from anywhere in the rpm range. The ls7 screams right up to 7100rpms. But it also gets about 28mpg on the freeway doing 65 in 6th and easily 17 around town if you cruise 5th alot. goodyear runcraps are another story. I went through 3 sets of rears in 12k miles.

If i had my pick after the Z, i would get either the GTR bout the same $ range or a Porsche 911 gt2 or gt3 rs if i was going to splurge... over a vette! i dont understand the creamage over a vette. I work on them on occasions for some customer's and i think there garbage as far as whats surrounding the engine.

There is not and never will be a V8 Z. That is wishful thinking for a magazine. Nissan would have put one in the GT-R before the Z anyways. They would do Turbos before ever touching a V8.
