It can be fun if you have the time to use all the tools and a understanding boss. One that realizes if your going to load all the stuff and it takes months.
Then you have to progress the project daily .... Which takes a couple of hours. Then add 26 project at a time and your two weeks behind already. Lol !!!!

I'd love to have that Z06 Motor with TT in my Firebird. Oh well, maybe someday. But, really, why would I need 700HP on the street. That's the battle I have with myself almost everyday. For the track, I have a 800HP monster ('67 Camaro) Not really streetable at 4MPG. It can idle around at the speed limit but, filling up every 25 miles are so sucks. Not to mention the cost of that gas now.
I'm into purpose built cars / trucks / RV's now. Each has their purpose. I wouldn't drag the RV and I wouldn't Tow with the '67 Camaro. That would be nuts !!!
Both the 350Z and the Vette are sports cars. I'll even go as far as saying my Honda Civic Si is a sports car. However, race cars are in a completely different class. When does a street car become a race car? Does a '74 Buick that does bracket racing qualify?
My point is that the lines are fuzzy at times. But, I believe 99% of the people would consider the Z to be a sports car.

So they sit over there in the slow lanes and smuggly drive slow because they think they are fast whereas they really can't afford to go fast to have a little fun.
That's because 90% of their owners are paunchy, balding, white guys over 65 years old.

Lets face it the 350Z aint winning **** but drift competitions. If that were a true sport car list in chronological order the 350Z would be way down the ladder and the corvette would be top 10.
That has to be the most ignorant thing I've ever read on this forum.
Z cars have been racing & winning for the last 35+ years.
Yes, the Z has history, nostalgia, and wins too.
Yes, the Z name goes hand in hand with motor sports.
And for anyone to deny that is a fool.

If I wanted to throw out the kind of money they want for a Corvette, I'd buy a Porsche.

And you don't even know the history of the Z. So you really need the ban hammer.
