Default Some one pryed on my hatch....

Pried? Arrrggg. It looks like some jerk tried to pop my hatch with screw driver or something....How hard will this be to get repaired?

shouldn't be that hard to fix at your local shop. btw that paint on hamburger looks pretty nice

just looks like deep scratches, does look like they tried to pry in though, you would have seen more damage to the hatch part I would think.

Hate to tell you this but quality paintwork ain't cheap, especially for two body panels. I'd say that a few hundreds dollars at least.

Or you can go the cheap route and just use touch up paint.

shitty get some 1200 grit paper, sand it out lightly, touch up paint, wax and buff. cheapest route

+1 I wouldnt spend a couple hundred to get something like that fixed.

I did have a bottle of aluminum polish back there - but, valuable, naw.

It sounds like I should give the touch up suggestions a try. I'm just paranoid about f'n it up more.

The black burger is nothing more than semi-gloss black spray paint and some extra-fine grit sandpaper. It took about five coats. Start out with a fine dusting coat and put it on heavier as you go.

It's a bit of a pain to maintain because it will chip off - touch up is required.

(That black on black above is really nifty.)
