Cool Simi Valley's First Z

Well it's 12 days later that my dealer said he would have it but it did show up today...a Redline, Performance model that was going to be picked up tonight by some lucky customer...I went down into the PDI area to see the car..it hadn't been washed yet and I was surprised by the amount of dirt on it..a pretty thick layer..I showed the dealer how to open the hatch, and we talked about my idea for designing a front plate bracket that fits into the tow hook area..they had installed the front plate bracket on the car at the owner's request and I must admit that I'm almost getting used to it...I think for most of us it was the initial shock of seeing a huge piece of plastic on the nose of the car..Don't get me wrong...I still think we can improve on this and will very soon..I mentioned that there was a rumor that dealers were going to give a copy of the "Lust, Then Love" book to preorder customers when they picked up their cars and he was unaware of the book but thought it was a great idea...I'm getting him the info on the book tomorrow...that's the up to date report from beautiful downtown Simi Valley California...now back to you Jay

Cool

Sorry Brian...I did bring a camera but the car really hadn't been prepped yet...like I said..lots of dirt...so I didn't take any pics this time

BTW...having seen the condition of this car..I can see why you would want to claybar it..

I'm certainly not a car detailing expert, just a very satisfied Zaino customer that was VERY pleased with the results.

I will certainly wash mine when I get it and I will be claying it as well. What Pat wrote is proof that these cars, while new, still pick up a lot of dirt on their way here. No sense going through all of those steps (meditation included) and not going the whole nine yards. Don't want to apply all those layers and seal in any left behind dirt!

Had to include another vacation pic. Isn't it funny? I'm showing all of my 350Z "family" my family vacation pics! Says something about the online relationships we have built here I think!
