I looked under the car this morning to see if i can find a loose wire and i did. There was a loose ground wire behind the muffler. Could this be my problem? I will post a picture in a few minutes.

hey, wanted to ask on this cos it seemed somewhat appropriate and I'll be torn to pieces if I started a new Thread for this. I've done research and can't find a definitive answer.

Which year(s) Z's are having all the motor replacements?

That ground wire goes on one of the bolts that holds the muffler to the midpipe. No it alone isn't causing your issues...its just one of many grounds. But I'd reconnect it all the same.

From the factory one of the bolts has 2 nuts on it, the first one holds the muffler flange to the midpipe flange, the 2nd one holds that ground on.

If you need pics lemme know via PM, as I forget where I post....quite often.
I'll be under mine this evening if you need a pic.

Actually, its the flange thats in your pics.

Well the CAN system is just a network that the BCM and ECU use to talk to each other and the components they control. It mainly controls things that have nothing to do with drivability (locks, windows, alarm, lights, wipers, AC, TPS) but it does also interface with the TCS, ABS, VDC. Those things can affect your drivability. CAN lines touch all of the following modules: ECM, TCM, Data Link connector, AC Amp, BCM, ABS actuator, and IPDM

If you pm me your email I can send you the section of the FSM that will walk you through some manual checks you can perform without the use of the consult-ii (specifically the ground and power checks).

It sounds like your throttle body is bad. They are known to be defective.

I did find a ground wire that wasnt connected and reconnected it yesterday. Since then the car drives fine but i still need to replace the back two sensors. Nissan said they will have the sensors in by monday. Once the sensors are installed i hope the car will be back to normal.

When my throttle body went bad it threw different codes: P1121 and P0327
