Default How to Check Year of Manufacture?

Is there any way to check the year of manufacture on the 350Z body? Mine is a used Japanese import and so far all the import documentation I've been given is in Japanese. Taking delivery of the car this week and I want to make sure the car is a 2004 as the dealer claims. Appreciate some guidance, and I'm sorry in advance if this question has been asked and answered previously in this forum (but I did check in the sticky's and there was none).

The 10th digit in the Vin Number is the vehicle's model year.

i know on Honda Preludes the VINs were slightly different, the 9th digit for example wouldnt have the same meaning as the 9th on a JDM lude. just playing devil's advocate

Of course it will be different from USDM to JDM, but on any USDM vehicle the 10th digit represents the vin. Promise.

The only tricky part, is some vehicle's (Ford for example) use letters in the 10th digit, not numbers so you have to know that B=1981 through Y=2000 and they didn't start using numbers until 1=2001.

I forget where to check, but my dealership had a page full of info on my car.

Turns out my car was manufactured on March 11, 2003.

My birthday is March 11.
