Curious: what was your previous car and how does it compare to the Z?

The Z is the best of them all, but sometimes I miss the fit and finish of the Audi and the pureness of the S2K.

I had an 03 redline base 350Z i got sick of it and sold it for not much less than i bought it for and bought an 04 Daytona Blue enthusiest, and threw some 19 inch te37 gunmetal wheels on now i have the car i always wanted it feels good being able to leave two tire marks with the LSD and the car drifts much easier.
Before that i had and 03 Mitsu Eclipse (junk) and before that i had an 01 Toyota Celica GT-S that averages one new car every year once they hit 20k miles they just dont have that new car scent, time to trade them in! I will keep this Z for a while though

I had a 1995 Nissan Altima, my girlfriend called it the smogima after it failed last month, but it also spurred me on to get my Z this year, so that's awesome.
Comparison?
Well the drive is smoother, the power is amazing, the paint is amazing, its beautiful. What a great machine. I haven't even broken it in, and its already fast as heck.
My alty, well, it was transportation, so it should be appreciated, but it was way short on fun and beauty.

1999 Eclipse GSX. Loved that car. Car had 23,400 miles when I sold it last month. Got north of 14k. Buyer couldn't believe how clean it was.
Waiting for my 05 touring 6spd. Can't compare yet, but my brother got an 05 Touring auto last month. It's fun to drive. I probably won't look back

I had 2002 Honda s2000
S2000 turns and corners with a lot more ease.. you feel more connected to the road as a driver.
S2k is more fun to drive.
350Z is more comfortable, has more rooms, more torque
that's about it.

This should be a good laugh for all of you.....
*ahem*
02 Ford Escape
03 Z Track
Honestly, do I need to compare them? The Escape had a zippy 200HP V6 but it was such a soft ride (and an automatic). I think night-and-day would be a good phrase to use here....in every category.

Saturn SL2 w/ bolt ons and 50 shot of NX. Beating imports who laughed at saturn, and then got owned after was hilarious. Did not look good at all but i miss it a whole lot.
Honda Del sol, and was going for a fully built GSR motor, but plans changed. I wanted a nice, atractive, powerful car, and was tired of putting alot of money to make it go fast. So i got myself a 350Z with a special dealer price, and 2% interest rate. : )

I live in a nearby Trailer Park, and I owened
Ferrari Enzo
Lamborghini Diablo V/T
911 Carrera
Z is okay, I guess..Well, when I think about it, it's not all that good...People are not used to seeing such a "bad" car in m neighborhood, I get eyeballed, but it's an okay car to save the parking space infront of the trailer.
--Oh yea, nothing compares to my Enzo.
lol, no leather and it says touring in his profile, haha dumb***, lyin isn't for dumb people.

1997 Audi A4 1.8t quattro
~260hp - k04 turbo, GIAC PC.16 race program, 310cc red tops, fmic, coilovers, 996 calipers, etc.
overall the fit and finish of the audi was 100x's better than the Z, but the 12g's or so I invested in it only got me a quick sedan that looked damn good. The Z is faster but I miss the feeling of the turbo. Overall I'm much happier in the Z... but it has only been 1 week. I'm sure i'll be singing a different tune when it snows.

I drive a 2002 4-door Cavalier 2.2 Liter Single OHC with a whopping 115hp/135tq to the flywheel! The last time I drove a Z was about a year ago at the NOPI Nationals here in Atlanta where I took the Z on a small road course (couldn't get past 45-50 mph) and it was just insane, an adrenaline rush. Always wanting one since then, I've never even been in one at a dealership.
Tomorrow I pick up my 350z ss/bo 6sp touring and I can't even remember what the interior looked like it or how it handled/accelerated. Go figure. It was love at first sight.
TT setup will definetly come in the next year, its a must have.

1991 MR2 Turbo
~240 hp w/mods.
PROS: Much lighter, had the "turbo kick" that NA engines dont give you, and handled very well for its age A very tossable car that was and still is IMHO the best bang-for-buck car on the market today.
CONS: Holy S*$% this car sucks to work on! Mid-Engined layout makes the simplest of jobs, like changing an alternator or valve-cover gasket time consuming, or complicated. Plus my back always killed me after working on it since there is so much leaning involved... ugh.
I sure will miss here though...

2000 toyota craplica g-t-a$$
what a pile. it looked good on the outside but that is where it ended. had to get the rpms to about 15000 before you felt any pull. BUT, the one thing it beats the z on is that i never had to take it to the dealer for problems with it.
celica:3 years 0 dealer visits.
350z: 20 months 6 dealer visits so far.
