Curious: what was your previous car and how does it compare to the Z?

I traded my 98 240sx se for the Z. The 240 was great...it was my first car and the car I always wanted. No problems at all with the engine or trans. but I had to replace the front tie rod ends. Other than that it was a great car. I put 98,000 miles on it. Any other money I put into the car was on mods...not on parts! But no regrets on buying the Z!!! Nothing compares...in my opinion.

So before the Z I had an Integra Type R, in bright 'steal-me-yellow'. That car handled so well, had good acceleration (weighed around 2700 lbs) and was just so much fun to drive. I'd still be driving it today if it weren't promptly stolen in Philadelphia last January. I'm still bitter about it. I used to run R compound tires all year long because I loved the handling offered by the R compounds. I had it at Lime Rock Park on November 2002 and had a good run with a Silverstone Z for a few laps (until I passes his azz). That was my first encounter with a Z, hadn't even seen one in person until then. Loved the car, couldn't keep my eyes off it. I still remember how quickly he walked away from me on the straights...

Just by chance do you happen to be E Mailing from a mental ward. Unlike you, I won't elaborate on my net worth, but it is fairly obvious from your post that you are severally disturbed and perhaps in some ways retarded.
In the future I suspect many of us would appreciate it if you would refrain from using this board, albeit even the arrogant and ignorant have a right to post.

Supirio;
to the guy who says the Z is the worst car he has ever owned, claims he is rich and lives in Tucson. Basically, says it is the type of car we would use for shopping at Walmart. I suspect the afore-mentined is enough for me to wonder why there might be some mental problems and wonder if he is E mailing from some type of institution.
Anyway, without elaborating like this jerk, I absolutely love my Z. I could afford more but no need to; the car is an absolute pleasure to drive.
Go back to about pages 3-5 and you will see his, in my opinion, absolutely insane comments.
Best Regards

Z-*****, well put about the Type R. My feelings exactly. I felt like I could have written that post.

OK, um 123nissanz, if you have so much money to own all those other cars, why did you buy a z WITHOUT leather? It's not as if it wasn't available, right?? Mine has leather..............and it wasn't that expensive.
As far as the engine being rough, that's just a LIE. I've never had a car with a smoother engine.
And as far as what people think about you, I would worry more about what people think about your personality and not your car. Of course that might be hard for you since you have no personality and you're car seems to be what you use to make up for that.... I'm 24, and people think I'm insane for buying a Z because they think it's too much for someone like me, like I'm supposed to stick to the norm...but it's what I wanted so I bought it and I'm making the payments and I'm happy so f#*k them.
If you don't like your Z, then you should sell it to someone who will give it the love and attention it deserves and stick to your overpriced other vehicles.

sorry 123nissanz, you're engine being rough might not be a lie (although it's highly unlikely)...and if it really is, stop complaining and get it to your dealer and get it checked out because you're Z is still under warranty.................................................... ...........

I owned an '84 300zx. Lusted over the next generation 300zx(90-94?), but never could afford one at the time (I graduated high school in '90). When I finally could to spend more than 30K in '01 decided to ordoer an '01 Camaro SS. I love the car! I really like the 350Z but can't get myself to trade in my '01 SS for it even though I've thought about it. But I"ve decided to really try and hurry up and pay off the SS(double payments) and get a 350z
With a little bit of patience, I could have both!

started with a non-turbo automatic 1986 Nissan Skyline slug..
then a 93 Nissan Patrol, with 7inches of Superlift and $12K of stereo
then a 2003 4.8litre Patrol with about $4K stereo
now my Z which is 50 times better than all those, except for the stereo which should change soon..

Last car i owned was a 2003 Honda Civic Si with a Jackson Racing Supercharger running 8lbs of boost also with the head from a rsx-s for actually i-vtec... sad thing is, is that it ran low 13's consistantly.
