Default How to prevent rock/paint chips

On this bumper I've had tons of little paint chips, and I'm getting a new front end soon. I was wondering if there's somekind coating that could help prevent rock and paint chips?




on that pic bumper looks ok, but chippin has gotten worse

you should enter that car in an auto show, you wouldn't certainly take the "Best Visibility" trophy.

wow, thats ummm interesting.

perhaps the chips are the streets way of knawing down the bumper untill it disinigrates and it no longer has to look at it.

a good clearbra come precut to the bumper, these typicly only exist for factory bumpers, as to create a new pattern for ever aftermarket bumper would not be cost effective.

they can use sheets and cut it to fit. but that bumper is ummm... very edgy? its unlikely anyone could get a flat sheet of anything to stick to that without it looking hidious. tho it may not hurt the overall appearance.

That's my altima with an evolution kit.

I'll try to go to few body shop and see what they can do about it, but thanks to those who helped
