But then, of course, I am personally such a good driver that there is absolutely no way I will ever be involved in an accident. Especially when I'm driving close to home. Or when I'm tired.

I might also remove my airbags and sell them to somebody. I hear they can go for a lot of money.
Tell me you're kidding?

my '04 has no problem.. theres a clip that is connected to root of the seat belt which is attached to the b pillar.. it gets rid of the sound made by seat belt knocking against the b pillar and it extends it enough so i have a comfortable ride.

Found a pair of plain belt pads at Kmart and had my wife sew on the logo. No more neck rubbing!I have been looking at the parts stores for better quality pads but they all have logos on them. Might have to make a logo patch and sew on over the writing.
Next project will be to make a logo patch the to fit over the warning patch on the visor.

Seatbelt adjusters are for ...ahem... overweight people. It's basically a 12 inch or so length of webbing with a tongue on one end to fit into the seat buckle and a buckle on the other end to fit with the original seatbelt tongue.

I asked the parts department at my local Nissan dealer to find the 04 part (I would call it a "seat belt presenter"). They did not have it in their online parts catalog. I'll ask again next time I go. Hopefully their manual will be updated to include 2004 models. There is no guarrantee that it will fit since the stud holding the D-ring may be longer on the 04 model.

I never noticed this problem, but I rarely wear my seatbelt, unless there's a cop...

I'm 6'-4", and on my 2004 roadster, I put a simple flat plastic compression clip from my old 911 turbo belts that slides up the belt to the guide channel above the seat to prevent the belt from fully retracting to the strangulation mode. Simple fix, max comfort, complete adjustability, and maintains full belt functionality. Tall guys always have these problems. E.F.

The seat belt adjuster that you get from Pep Boys are nothing like the one's in the catalog. They are just small plastic clips that move the shoulder belt away from your neck. The one that is in the catalog are for those that have a problem getting enough belt strap to reach the buckle. See my earlier post on this thread to see a picture. The seat belt adjusters work. In a pinch you can even use a large binder clip or hair clip.
