as pointed out, I would let the police sort this out. everyone defrauded should contact bout the Muncie, Indian police and the fort Bragg provost marshal office. Let the law get to the bottom of it.

I believe him. This happened to me a few years ago. Someone got all my information, started using my name and my account. Stole almost $1k out of my bank account, and was applying for all sorts of loans and auto financing in my name. I was getting calls from places telling me I was in there looking at cars that I had never even been to. This DOES happen to people. I just hope it all gets worked out, and that everyone gets their money back.

if in school on an army program as you stated in your thread, you are still theirs.

OP still contact the Army and they will let you know for sure.

interestingggggggggg -- so basically youre saying the ip was the same as he logged into for months and months and that if someone bought his computer (even though it was ereased but they got his info) they would have used a different ip address---i.e.- his story is false?

Also, if all your informations were stolen, what happened to the paypal address? is that hollisterdout@yahoo your paypal address? It is a verified premium account, also i sent the payment there, if its the guy who stole everything from you, how is he going to be able to pull out the money from your bank account?

I will need to go home first, and i'll contact mob in details of filing a report.

long story...transferred money from my paypal to my bank account. then he logged on my bank account and wire transferred the money to some other account before it even hit my bank account. he had the passwords to everything. he planned this from the beginning.

lol +1. i dont think a scammer would sit down and send out 100's of PM's trying to sell parts, -make up phone numbers, emails, and cancel them- on a random car forum when he could just get into your bank account and take what he wants. and if the computer was sold to someone on campus, then you already know who it is. what are you waiting for!??!?!! go get him. i can smell a liar a million miles away. having the convenience of someone saying "maybe his account was hacked" opened a brand new door for you.

if the police are handling this story as you stated, you should give the case # and the police station so we can verify they are really looking into this and we can see what date that was opened up. it would have to be prior to today to make it a truthful story.
