So, what was that police report number?

BTW, I'm a cop and I can't fathom why three trips to your house would be made in one day for a case of this nature. Enlighten me...

called the number he sent and it goes to a phone thats not answering and the voicemail is not yet set up... number checks out from anderson IN, 765-606-8025 doesnt make sense. Call your local authorities guys or state police and start filing complaints. Looks like theres a long lifetime of garnished wages.

Why would Paypal have to handle this? I was always under the impression that cases involving Internet fraud fell under the jurisdiction of the FBI.

How come he hasn't posted on the Lotus forum asking if anyone has been ripped off?

I thought he was looking to see that other people hadn't been.

hahaha, no. He told me he was signing off.

Oh, and Godlike - I'm not trying to argue with you, rofl. I've said the whole time I don't know what's going on. I'm just stating possibilities and scenarios. Don't hate me forever. It REALLY sucks that this happened to you, and everyone else. It really does. I hope everyone gets their money back. Stuff like what is happening to Alex has happened to me before. That's why I'm trying to make people see from both perspectives. Hell, he might have done it for all I know. I'm just trying to make people see both sides.

You claim to be neutral in this regard... Go back and re-read all your posts. You have done nothing but make excuses and offer possibilities in your friend's defense.

I have handled many an identity theft and fraud case... Your friend's excuse doesn't hold water imo and is going to get burned.

Guys seriously lets stay on track and just follow this through. This is god for the whole community to see what happens so others can better be prepared for something like this in the event we are not the only people.

Good investigating copper. Too bad you just stated EXACTLY what I've been stating all along: That I have been offering possibilites as to what may have happened.

Gee *****! That's good police work there. Have you asked for a raise?

You just need to look at the things we provided and the way he reacted, obviously a lot of things he said did not make sense at all. You should've known urself that it is very possible he is doing fraud towards many people with money thats over $20000+++.

I don't care hes your friend or what, you just need to know when to stop backing up a friend when the facts are leading him into a very bad criminal spot.

it's not like he's my personal friend. i have never met him. i've done business with him while working at Forged.

I've said all along, he could have done it. Who am I to say? I have no idea. I hate how it's ok for everyone to bash like crazy when threads get like this, but when someone tries to explain possible scenarios, they're automatically bashed too.

just talked to paypal. if you were "scammed" by "me" you are getting your funds released in the next few days if not by tomorrow to you. i will then keep a negative balance with paypal and will owe them...however, my bank is aware of all this and thought the activity was suspicious too...i got off the phone with them and they are going to pay paypal back for the fraud through the fraud protection. thats it.

Overall, the worst thing is still that my 1 month of expectation on getting my dream wheels turned out to be $2300 in pending and not even being able to buy from other people......

I will file police report tomorrow, this is becoming a real headache
