I was out putting some break-in miles on the Z and stopped at the local auto parts store to get a spot mirror for my dirver's rear view. As I am sticking it on in the parkling lot, a guy in a WRX pulls up and says "How do you like it?" We talked about both cars for a bit and he drove off to the drive up coffee stand about 30 yards away. As I am about to drive away he comes walking up to my car and says "There is something your car has that mine won't every have. Three girls in a coffee kiosk that want a closer look at your car!. They asked me to come over and tell you".

Of course I drove up and tooted my horn. They came out and oohed and ahhed over the car. It felt really good having that kind of attention.

Now before you ask, I am 40 and happily married. These girls were maybe 20, so that was all ther was. Still felt pretty good.

Next stop was a hobby store for some paint. Sure enough, as I am getting to my car, someone askes me about it. He had woned Zs in the early 80s, and still had a soft spot for them. He really liked it.

Hope this attention never gets tiring. Its too much fun.

Alang- That is the same car I purchased 'chromesilver track' unfortunately I have a couple week wait still. BUT Ive been dying to see the Track in chrome silver. Do you have any pics that you could post or email to me? Congrats/thanks

I loaded up pictures on my website and these gurlz be asking me "are you really getting the Z?"

I reply "Yes, a silver one... can't wait!"

Previously... I never really designed my page with Z stuff. I didn't think peepo in the azn community would care. I even thought about photoshopping an "H" emblem to see what kind of attention I would get.

One time one gurl was telling me how she thought this silver civic with kit and wheels was "cute." She never really asked about the Z pictures I posted on my page. Go figure!

Today on the highway a guy in a riced-out Eclipse (massive rear wing) was craning his nexk so far back to look at my car I thought he'd pull a muscle (not to mention hit something in front of him). So I helped him out by blowing past him.

Hey Z-Girl, just rest assured that if some "macho" guy with a stained wife beater and a un-groomed mullet pulles up to you in his beaten up Mustang, and throws some horid pickup line at you, the only *** he will be cheking out it the sweet rear end of your new Z as you completely burn him. And of course you will have the rich middle aged man with the trophy wife in the Bimmer looking at you all jelous....

 

I'm with you Zgirl, my fiance says he won't ride in it because I am so particular about car care, parking, etc, even with my old 300ZX(still looks like a new car) I won't mind the attention, but I would't know what to do with 3 guys....If it was the guy with the mullet I'd run.Blondes with long hair in a great sportscar will always get looks from old and young men alike. Zgirl, when again is yours coming?How is the wait going?

Alang-I met Z_type yesterday in Scottsdale,Az and saw the Z for the 1st time.There were actually people taking pictures of the car.The response seems to be unbelievable so far.

I have never been so deparate to get anything in my life. I got a call two days ago from my dealer saying there is a Sunset and whether I want to see it and test drive it. Unfortunately I have been on call 2 days in a row and can't get to see during opening hours. I went there last night and peered in the window and could not stop drooling...A Lemans Sunset with burnt orange seats...an awesome site. He told me he's not selling that car yet. Have to find some free time to test drive it. It makes the wait even more difficult.

 

Dammit Alan, by the time my car comes in, nobody's going to be impressed with it anymore! They'll say, "oh we already saw that weeks ago. What's wrong with you, why'd yours take so long to get here?"

Where was that coffee kiosk, cause I can scratch that one off the list of places I'll be driving by.

Just kidding of course. I still want to check it out next week.

You guys are torturing me with all these reviews. Let me explain. I'm 16 and turning 17 in February. My family currently has two cars, a Land Rover Discovery and a Toyota MR2 Spyder(my Dad's). I think you guys know which one I prefer of the two. I've had my heart set on that car for a year since my Dad got it. My parents said I could take my Dad's car when I turn 17, and my Dad would take whatever 3rd car we purchase. But now I'm in the love with the 350Z. No knock on the MR2, but this is one serious car. So, until feb., I guess I've got some major *** kissing to do.
