Question Just Out of Curiosity...

What does everyone do with all the stock items they have replaced with mods? Keep them "just in case", sell them, throw them away?

As an example, I will be having my stock exhaust system replaced with the Borla True Dual next week. Did those of you who have already done this keep your old exhaust system?

Thanks for your input!

Hang on to it. When you sell the Z you can put it back on and sell the Borla.

I spent about $10000 on my 99' Lude SH, and I kept them all, I can get about $5000~$6000 back after selling them, and putting everything back to stock raised my car's resale value a little bit also...

If you place your stock rims two wheels high and place a pillow on the top you got yourself a chair.

Place two wheels high side by side with a glass piece on top you got yourself a "Z" coffee table.

If you put your springs lying on a desk you can file your mail in each coil. It's like a letter organizer.

The stock pipe makes a good bong too but I wouldn't know how to work it...don't smoke. I'm sure one of our fellow forum stoners could figure that out.

Oh yeah..and the Bose system? straight in the trash that goes. I'm sure it can fertilize something good a few centuries from now.

Default Great Suggestions....

Thanks for all the suggestions....

The home office thing is a great idea. Very creative.......and funny! I agree on the Bose system.

Will the Borla system fail the smog test? I wasn't figuring on that one. That would be disappointing to say the least.

I keep everything when I replace something. I still have my damaged tire from a blowout, still have a damaged splash guard that I had to replace, and maybe this is a bit crazy, but I still have my first oil filter. I'm not keeping the other ones, though.
