Has anyone received their car in the southwest, besides Pheonix and Arizona. How about deliveries in New Mexico (albuquerque, santa fe, las cruces) or west Texas ( amarillo, lubock, el paso)

Been sitting here awaiting a Z due in on the 26th of Aug... still a no show. No dealers in New Mexico have a car yet. None.. Nada.. less than Zero... Mine was due Monday.. my dealers was due with another car today.. two more are out there too.. but no one knows where they are.... I was told there will be news tomorrow.. Ha Ha but who can you trust to tell you the truth....

Where are you at?

Perhaps we should let each other know if we find out sumtin..LOL

Im in El Paso and have the first one on preorder at my dealer. I'll keep you posted if I here anything on this end. Funny, how all these 350s keep passing us by on the way east. I feel like I'm lost at sea........HEY im over here!!!!! "splash splash"....there goes another plane.

Anyhow, what parts of New Mexico you from?

 

two Z was delivered at dealership where I ordered from, Mossy of Houston. Mine was scheduled for 8/27, but now the latest is 9/2. It's on a train some where

 

I ordered from Casa in El Paso end of Jan. 02. Have VIN and was given delivery date of 9/2-9/6 for PPW, 6mt-- everything except navigation system. As far as I know no Zs have shown up in El Paso or Southern New Mexico. I suspect they zip by on trains from LA. Who is you dealer and when did you order?

 

I ordered from Gateway Nissan on Jan. 17th. I'm kinda pissed at Casa Nissan. I was calling since Nov 01 trying to put down a deposit. I called many times and left personal info every time for them to let me know when I could preorder, they were like, sure we'll notify you as soon as we find out anything. Ha!! Never heard since.

Sorry about that rant.

Anyhow I ordered a Lemans touring with MT.

We'll be seeing ya around town!!

 

Well ... Ill tell you what my dealer told me today.. he was quite upset due to the non arrival of his car. He said.. that the train from LA goes right thru New Mexico and on to Dallas where they are brought back by rail to Belen NM and then trucked from there. I dont know if thats where yours will be heading but it might help. He knows someone in the transportation section that is giving him info... Todays info was.. I dont know where yer damn cars are.. sooooo.... He is going to be checking every day to see if he can get an update. as of right now.. or at least 12pm Albuquerque time.. they are all due in on the 3rd of Sept.

IF you guys hear something let me know and I will pass on more info as it comes in.

I have a Daytona Blue 6sp nav kick mats aero char leather due in.. SOMEDAY!

I was the 8th slot of 9 (ordered 24 th Ja n)and my car was supposedly going to be the first in the showroom.. ha ha ha... ouch. theres that pain again.

alawoowoo--Sorry to hear about Casa's lack of response. I have had great luck with them over the years. I am an older Z-freak. Back in 1974 I purchased a 260 from them (was Smith Datsun then) to celebrate my first real job. So I ordered my touring from them in part because of tradition. I'll post if I hear anything.

 

A couple of days ago I checked dealer inventory in Austin, TX and Newell and Northpoint Nissan had 3 in stock between the two of them...being pre-sold, I am sure their owners have them now.

I live in San Antonio...as of today none of the dealers here have received any cars.

Oh I forgot...

Man.. ah that was it.. the delivery guy my dealer talked to said only about 100 cars have been delivered and that they were way behind due to them not wanting to scratch or ding any of these cars. can you say kid glove handling.. so...

Wrap mine in bubble wrap.. tell me where the train comes closest to and I will come get it... they can detail it after I get back in town...
