More like what did I do for the Z for 2 days..
Never again..
Full detail interior and exterior of the Z
It needed it and I did the best i could without a DA buffer. Clear is a bit delicate in some places so I had to buff everything by hand. Took 2 days about 5-6 hours first day, 5 hours the next day. My body is still sore from it.
First time detailing a car but..love the Z so decided to do it right. Previous owner neglected the waxing and paint care, so I had to make up for a lot of it.
> Car wash with Meguiar's gold
> Dry with synthetic cham and microfiber towels
> Clay bar entire car with Mother's clay bar kit. (Went through the entire bottle of detailer spray)
> Polish and buff with microfiber pad by hand. (NEVER AGAIN!!!!)
Got the hood, front two fenders and head lights buffed and waxed first day.
> Next day, polished and buffed the rest of the car... took a few hours with sweat pouring down, hand cramping, forearm seizing.
> Waxed entire car with Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax (so expensive, better be worth it.. hopefully)
Waxed headlights, tail lights, all windows and mirrors.
> Clay barred front and rear windshield before wax
> Interior detail - applied Meguiar's interior protectant spray over all the plastic trims, front and trunk, door sides, pillars, etc.
> Window cleaner on rear view mirror, vanity mirrors, gauges, windows.
> Polish exhaust canisters and tips
> Polish wheel lips with Eagle One metal polish
Did I say never again!!
Just going to upkeep car wash and wax every 2-3 months with Meguiar's Ultimate as it's supposed to last a long time. Hopefully never have to clay bar or buff again.
With all that done, took some photos of my somewhat newly acquired Z after the detail work.

Took apart my gauge cluster and did a couple light deletes. One is the tire pressure warning light, the other was the airbag light. I don't have a airbag on the passenger side right now. I have it in the house, just waiting on swapping my frost interior including dash to the black that I also have in the house..

Filled up the tires. Been running at 30-31 PSI this entire time... didnt even cross my mind to fill it up. Filled it up to 35 all around and wow.. car glides a lot more effortlessly, the ride is less bumpy. And I'm hoping that it'll boost my MPG a little more.
Ordered RJM Performance adjustable clutch pedal bracket and a center navi cubby off ebay. Will put those in soon... so sick of having to focus so hard at the red light to minimize shuddering.

Waiting
Haven't done anything today but I'm waiting on Dynosty to call me. They are rebuilding a rear end with 3.9 gears and Quaife LSD. Can't wait for them to pull my stock one and put the new one in.

I'm honored to receive the momentum shift **** directly off of Momentum's silver race 350z as a gift (complete with racing scars and all). I also got an autographed picture of the car it came off of where you can see it installed. As I said, truly an honor.
