Thanks man, should be fun once completed....got bored today and decided to try that 3M paint protector spray....kinda a fancy version of plastidip in clear. I already have a clear bra...did both fenders and will probably do sideskirts next....there's enough in the can do do em too.
Goes on a little milky and rough....
Dries nice and clear and evens out....this is only an hour after application
Gave it a bath, painted the side markers silver just like the car...put a high gloss 3M roof wrap and polished up the headlights using Turtle Wax headlight restorer!
All this done throughout the month of April. Need 06'+ tail-lamps ASAP! inbox me if u got some laying around
Pretty lame day though. Being late in the morning (due to early meeting with client), lots of construction work, lots of cars, cyclists out. But... being out there on a "bad run day" is better than being cooped up inside working.
A couple of things I noticed:
- Didn't bother with adjusting settings on cam. Date and time are off so ignore.
- Dumb a$$ me shut the sound recording off inadvertently at some point while changing cam angle. There goes a wasted 5GB tossed in the trash.
- The YouTube video quality is horrible compared to the actual .mp4 file viewed on my computer. Should have uploaded in higher rez but oh well.
- Having the cam made me sloppy. Not paying attention to my driving as I should due to being self concious with cam on (and you can probably hear a couple of "ooops, wrong gear" segments). When I forget about it being there, all will return to normal.
- Due to the amount of traffic (visible in the vid), I even held speed down. Fastest segment was probably no more than 65 tops with corners at max 50 or so.
Disclaimer: Speeds were all legal WHERE POSTED. Full road usage only where visibility allowed line of sight well beyond the curve(s). And yes, I went slow on the return route where I KNEW there were cyclists who had passed me going the opposite direction earlier.

I would love to do this! What I noticed most was reflections off the windscreen, maybe if it was a few inches higher?...good stuff!

All that aside... which model Black Box did you get and how did you connect the power supply?
