Yesterday I had an Injen CAI, Motordyne Thermal Plenum Spacer, and Stillen Y Pipe installed. My previous stock Y pipe was damaged at the left flex portion. It had a horrible and loud buzzing and rattling sound.
The aftermarket Y pipe fixed the problem, and all the mods have opened up Ms. Z's lungs. Earlier this year I had Invidia race pipes and a Magnaflow cat back exhaust installed.
Ms. Z revs easier and more freely, is much quieter at idle, and is much louder at regular speed. I only hit above 4,500 once this morning. The power really kicks in around 4,000 RPM.
The rasp that I was experiencing with the race pipes is almost gone probably due to the exhaust note coming through louder and clearer. There's a nice crackle and pop when I rev.
Next mod is headers and tune, but not sure in what order. Not even sure where to get a tune. I'll post pics of the intake. No pics of Y pipe installed or plenum spacer.

The Base Model Z got a 380RS pedal. I also ordered some aluminum pedals for it and got some gnarly blisters on my thumbs trying to get them on. I got the brake and accelerator on, Dremel and clutch pedal here I come :P
(and yea, I did soak them in almost boiling hot water)

^ I did mine this past winter and don't remember it being SO horrible.
I read all of the posts saying to heat up the rubber in hot water, etc.
I just used a couple flathead screwdrivers and went to town.
I didn't use the hot water method and in hindsight that would have probably been a good idea. It was definitely a *****- probably 45 mins worth of cussing and sore hands.
I'd get three corners, stick the flathead underneath the final lip of rubber on the pad and pry it out/away until I could catch the lip of the metal pedal plate.

I don't know. I usually don't get blisters but I'm guessing the wetness of pulling the pedal out of watwr, combined with the humidity and the stars' alignment..... all I know is that blisters (or anything regarding my hands) is my "nails on a chalkboard" get the ******* and freak out thing.
I'm going to try to get the clutch on on Sunday. Whether it's zip ties, bubblegum, or duct tape.....it's going on.
