Yeah that thing is all cf it's pretty sweet. I wonder how much it costs though.. maybe like $4000. But seeing how nissan prices it's oem stuff maybe 15k.

It's pretty much what JHC said. Just drain the coolant from the bottom hose and plug refill drive it and drain again and refill.

I put a funnel in the bleed valve and prime heater core till it runs over. Drive, rinse repeat if nec. 02.

I *like* the GT-R but at that pricepoint, there's a whole bunch of other cars that I'd own before that. Our Nissan dealer - during the entire time we were leasing - kept calling about this or that GT-R that "just came in" and that we should "come on in to take a look." Uh, no.
For real just for availability, you're right there are nicer cars for its price range but you gotta admit, this gtr is pretty damn sexy .

Got my car back from the body shop.. Multiple 1 CM scratches in the new paint and fked up the tint on the rear. They also charged me for a new side mirror, when I NEVER told them to nor did I ask as the OEM one I had was in perfect condition. Can't wait to deal with this bs tomo after work. /EndRant

Warning: Pic heavy (as always)

Finally got around to tinting it. This is a must down in Florida. The company that did it (Ab Mobile Tint for you NoFLA locals) did a great job. I went with 20% on the sides and rear, and 50% on the windshield.

Gotta say it's looking pretty gangster. Lulz.

Okay, pics:

Clutch pedal started acting up and only popping up about halfway during the summer heat so I replaced the OEM master cylinder with the Wilwood from Zspeed. I went ahead and added the Wilwood reservoir with the threaded cap so I could use my Motive power bleeder. Installation and bleeding was easy thanks to these two posts!

Replaced drives side window motor with one I found at jc Whitney for like $50. Core charge at autozone was like $40 so I thought this was the deal of the century. Also removed hood and wet sanded then buffed and waxed it. Looks much better. But can see the light scratches (no worse the the rest of my cars paint) also painted upper plenum with engine primer then gloss black. (It was pretty much all polished but I didn't love the look) thats it for the weekend. O and I got stung by a wasp and now I have one fat boy leg.

Went to max her out on a "closed road". Wussed out at 158mph since I didn't trust my mad driving skillz above that.

I'm glad to hear that you broke down and pulled the trigger! When do you expect it to come in? You get it from Bulletproof? Congrats, you will love that hood.
