Zak has EVERY tool in existence to work on anything from A to Z (like an Allis-Chalmers tractor to a Z) and he doesn't have a simple NOCO???
I have three... want one to complete your toolbox(es), Zak?

Fancy smancy... I think I have a plug that goes into the obd2 and then the lighter section of the jump box... I may have never used it, and it might be lost at this point.

I've never lost an ECU tune when battery was out with this thing plugged in for the few moments between battery disconnect and reconnect. And that's what's important to me. Who gives a sh*t about the radio?
And when was the last time someone of this generation referred to the "auxiliary power socket" as a "cigarette lighter"? Hahahahaha....

Mic - Please don't make me take a photo of my settings keeper. It's ridiculous and runs off the wall socket, not some chinzy 9V battery.
Edit: Screw it. Here's a photo:

I used to have a fair amount of tools. Then I got divorced.
When I was back in the shop back in '12, started to buy a few things here and there just to keep from borrowing anything from anyone if I actually had to get dirty instead of just doing the service writing and managing the monkeys. (Said affectionately.) And when we were slammed, I did run the express oil change lane. Hahaha.
But honestly, for the amount you have invested in tools and the not-so-challenging things that I actually still do in the garage, I can farm out the stuff I no longer am inclined to do for many years! Hence, don't need much other than basics. Love working on my cars but my days of burning the midnight oil with a tranny on my chest, a dropped diff on my hand, or a motor on a chain are long over.

Fancy my a$$.... that there is a stupid little reverse 9v battery that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and keeps one from having to re-prog the radio and other lo-vo maintained digital stuff.

Mic - I've been collecting tools for over 30 years; that's my excuse. I haven't been divorced yet, so I haven't lost half of everything either.
Seriously though, the reason I have all this stuff is because I plan to start a business doing electric conversions on classic cars in the next 5 years or so (after my wife and I cash out and move to the country.) I don't plan to make a ton of dough, but at least I'll be doing something I've always loved doing. All I really need at this point is a decent lift and a few other odds and ends that won't fit in my current garage. And to be honest, I haven't bought anything that I didn't acquire out of necessity. All my tools have been used at least once (though admittedly, some of them have been used only once.)
Edit: I only recently dropped a diff on my hand, so I can totally relate to your comment on that.

tmdz - Yeah... sounds like a plan. lol. We're actually looking at the Methow Valley - maybe the area around Winthrop or Twisp. I like REALLY cold winters and REALLY hot summers.
We've priced out buying some acreage and sticking a cabin and an unattached shop next to it. My wife will be in charge of feeding the chickens and keeping the dog company while I'll be in charge of sandblasting and fabrication. For my birthday, the wife got me a six-week intensive welding course that starts in May. I wanted to take a class like that before deciding which type/types of welder(s) I should get.

But y'know, even in my full-on wrenching days (in my garage and in the paddock, not professionally, where I was the parts specialist and service writer), I had pretty big cabinets of stuff but nothing like yours. Heck, only reason I have three rolling chests full now is because I bought a second hand top/mid/bottom cabinet couple years ago from an estate liquidator guy for a good price.
FULL of tools for $175.
All pics are from the day I bought it.... none of my stuff even in 'em yet!
By the time I was done sorting/reorganizing, cleaning, etc., I wasn't even able to toss out my Harbor Freight roller cab like I thought I could. It became part of "secondary tool storage".
Surprisingly though, I use most of my tools and yes, do need more from time to time.

TMDZ - Yeah, the wife and I went out to Walla Walla last year for a trip through wine country. We stayed at the Marcus Whitman Hotel for a few nights but didn't see any ghosts. I really love the area between Zillah and Walla Walla; you've got to get off the highway to find all the cool stuff (like the dinosaurs in Granger and the Goldendale Observatory. On the way back to Seattle, we cut past the WA State Penn going out of town and took the back roads up to Palouse Falls.
The wife wants to take a ski trip to Mission Ridge in Feburary. I was thinking about taking a side trip up to Winthrop to do some snowshoeing or bigfoot hunting.

That is the stuff of wet dreams.
I started my (ahem) tool hoard when I started working at a garage/service station back in 1988. The guys who ran the place guided me on what to get and showed me through experience that you could never have enough tools; they were always sending me to NAPA to buy more. I also learned all about the allure of the Snap-On and MAC tool trucks (an evil money trap, but man, they made good tools.) It really helped that Craftsman made some great tools back then that were reasonably priced. I didn't really start getting brand conscious until I saw so many USA tool companies being offshored back in the late 1990s.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to buying products from overseas if they're fundamentally better tools or the only available option and own a lot of stuff from Germany, Taiwan, Japan and China. I even own a Canadian Robertson-head screwdriver that I bought at what was probably the last Sears store in Vancouver, BC. I'm particularly fond of Knipex and Wiha.
That said, as long as the tool gets the job done, then it's the right tool for you. After I permanently retire, I plan to pass all my hand tools to my mechanic stepson in Australia (yup, they're going into a shipping crate to be sent Down Under.) I'm really proud that I had enough of an impact in his life to guide him down that path, and he makes double what I make working on mining rigs out in the bush. That being said, I'd like to pass on some quality tools to him and I'll keep the throw-away stuff for myself, even though I'll probably be too tired and lazy to ever use it.

It's been pretty cold here this winter, and sometimes in the summer it gets miserably hot and humid... Lots of low population hill towns around also...
Anywho in my boredom today I made this little shop radio, might bring it to work, might throw it in my basement, we will see, sounds surprisingly good for 2 little 4 inch speakers.
